Free: A few very old Ridge Tiles plus... (Sutton SS4) Old ridge tiles and decorative parts. These were taken from my parents house (built early 1900s). They were removed when the roof had to be repaired after the storm of 1987. To make the repair consistent, these tiles (which were NOT damaged) were removed to be replaced with modern items to match the repaired tiles. There are 6 plain ridge tiles 1 foot (30.5 cms) long. One ridge tile with the fancy ‘cloverleaf’ cut-outs in the ‘fin’ (see photo). One with the ‘hooked scroll’ feature (see photo) – this went over the end of the ridge (over a bay). Could be used for repairs, or another decorative purpose. Note! Sadly, the ‘hooked scroll’ part broke off cleanly when I was preparing it for the photos. I immediately glued it with epoxy resin – but look at it and see what you think. Also, I have a couple of tins of old tile paint (when I shake them, there’s still liquid inside) – you can have those as well. I'm near the Anne Boleyn pub in Rochford. Available from Mon 28th.

Free: 104 Used bricks (see details) (Sutton SS4) Might do someone a favour! I’ve been sorting them out, so here’s a list of them: ‘London Brick’ Brand (see numbers below) . Nice bricks, ‘faced’ on one side and on the edges. That means they’ve got a textured, dimpled, finish on those sides: 18 – in good, used, condition 12 – in good used condition, but with slight chips 16 – with slight damage 11 – in poor worn condition More ‘London Brick’ Brand. Also good and ‘faced’ (as above) but with a ‘sandy’ appearance – no dimples: 24 – in good, used, condition 4 - with slight damage ‘Capel’ Brand. Not as nicely made as the London bricks, but sound bricks. 15 – good, used, condition Other odd bricks – these are plain, without a ‘frog’ (ie the recess on one side) 4 – good, used, condition See the photos – I can give more information/photos if required. Free: Toilet cistern fill mechanism (Sutton SS4) Modern type, with a rising float (the blue square bit in the photo), rather than a ball float. Bottom entry of the water supply. Complete, as far as I know. Ask if any questions. Collection from near Anne Boleyn pub, Rochford

Free: Spare toilet cistern valve parts (Sutton SS4) Parts only – see photo. No nut or washer for the bottom entry, and those 2 float arms do not fit (no float either). But they actual valve IS there (the blue bit) and that should be useful. Ask if any questions. Collection from near Anne Boleyn pub, Rochford.

Free: Push-button toilet cistern flush unit, unused. (Sutton SS4) Gifted Flush works by central push button on top of the cistern. I only have the flush unit, not the cistern, nor the push button. Free: Ikea Cassette Racks (Sutton SS4) Expired If you (or someone you know) has a collection of 'old-skool' cassettes, these purpose-made racks are great for storage. The cassettes sit perfectly in them. (My Cassettes are in boxes in the loft now!) I'm near the Anne Boleyn pub in Rochford.

Free: 'Elbow' crutch (Sutton SS4) Expired Adjustable 'elbow' crutch . 'Elbow' crutch means it's a crutch that you hold with your hand (not your armpit!) but it had a curved bit at the top that fits round your arm, to stabilise it - see pictures. The height is adjustable so that from the FLOOR to the HANDLE, it can be fixed between 28 inches and 35 inches. There is a red reflector at the end of the handle. Belonged to my late mother, who used it a great deal, as it was very supportive. I'm near the Anne Boleyn Pub, Rochford.

Free: 'Deco' style wall light (Sutton SS4) Gifted Perfect condition, with white curved-glass concentric shades. (They're white, not yellow, as the photo had made them appear.) Attractive 'Deco' style, but not very old. Was planning to use it in my house, but have changed my mind. Pull-switch incorporated in the base. A good Do-it-Yourself-er (or a professional) would be able to understand how to fit it. The largest glass (at the top) is about 12 inches across. I'm in Rochford, near the Anne Boleyn.

Free: Leather 'blue' badge wallet (Sutton SS4) Gifted Keeps your disabled blue badge neat, As my photos show, there are clear pouches inside for the 'clock' part as well as the badge itself. Belonged to my late mother. I'm in Rochford, near the Anne Boleyn pub.

Free: 6x 12v downlighters, complete (Sutton SS4) Gifted 2 packs of 3 IKEA ('Trettio') downlighters. There's a transformer with each set of 3. Unused - one pack is even unopened! They can be fitted under a shelf or under the kitchen wall units of a fitted kitchen. There is quite a lot of wire with the lights so that the transformer can be hidden away somewhere. They are of the usual IKEA quality and I'm sure would be useful for someone. I'm in Rochford near the Anne Boleyn Pub.

Free: Vintage music box, wooden with 'carved' flowers/leaves (Sutton SS4) Gifted 6.5 inches x 4.5 inches, x 3.5 inches tall. Musical mechanism seems a bit 'tired' and slow. But the wooden box is very nice. Recognisable old tune, but I can't think of the name. Rochford area, near the Anne Boleyn Pub. To go to a good home, I can deliver it a reasonable distance.

Free: Vintage piano music box (Sutton SS4) Gifted Illustrated with picture of Chopin on the lid. Nice opening keyboard, and of course the main piano lid opens. 7 inches front to back, 4.5 inches wide, 4 inches tall (when closed). Plays 'The Blue Danube' nicely. I don't want to throw it away! I'm in Rochford, near the Anne Boleyn Pub. Can delivery over a reasonable distance, to see it go to a good home!

Free: 5 old, but solid deck boards for garden project? (Sutton SS4) Expired I've replaced a friend's decking recently, and I have these boards left over (the others have been taken). They may not look much, but they are solid enough for a garden/allotment project (if only for walking on between beds). In my photo, the 3 on the right about 2.3m long, the 2 on the left are 2.4m long. (The one on the far left is in the poorest condition.). Rochford area. Can cut them down to fit your car, if necessary. Stephen

Free: Polystyrene wallpaper insulation (Sutton SS4) Expired I've got a full roll and a part roll of this thin insulation layer that you stick to your walls and then wallpaper over. Provide insulation and it hides bad walls. Not sure if it is sold anymore. I'm near the Anne Boleyn Pub in Rochford. Let me know if interested. Thanks, Stephen

Free: 3 (grey) Freezer Drawers (Sutton SS4) Expired A friend gave me these 3 Freezer Drawers in case they might fit my freezer, which has broken plastic drawers. (Sadly, they don't fit.) I thought someone else might want them - they are strong and undamaged. Make of freezer is unknown - size of drawers is 45cm wide, 41.5 front-to-back, just under 16cm deep. Drawers have a slightly wider front (just under 46cm). Would make sturdy storage boxes (underbed?) . Any use to you? I'm in Rochford, near Anne Boleyn pub.

Free: 2 air mattresses (Sutton SS4) Gifted One is 'Bestway' brand (in box) - 201cm x 99cm x 51cm Other is 'loose' - 200cm x 139cm x ?cm - but is IS box sided and with pump. Professionally repaired at some point (see photo). Near Anne Boleyn Pub. (Disposing for friend.)

Free: Unused Roofing Felt (Sutton SS4) Gifted Wickes premium roofing felt (better than just shed felt), left over from my project. Some underlay. I think Wickes called it 'Easyseal' (see their website). Near Anne Boleyn Pub.

Free: Sizeable pieces of carpet underlay (Sutton SS4) Gifted Pretty sound condition. I stored then in my dry loft thinking I might need them, but I've decided to let them go. The photo shows the rolls I've got, I haven't measured them though. I'm near the Anne Boleyn Pub. ***ALSO, I've some oddments of gripper rod which might help you to complete a project (see photo).

Free: Spare loft insulation (Sutton SS4) Gifted I have a couple of bags of spare loft insulation - the photo gives a idea of the size. (Watering can for scale!).

Free: Sizeable offcuts of roofing felt (Sutton SS4) Expired These pieces were left over when I repaired the roof of my single story extension. It was from Wickes and was the self-adhesive type (suitable for habitable buildings). The black pieces are 'underlay' that went with it - see photo.
