I am offering this Apollo FS.26 SE full-suspension mountain bike completely free to someone who may be able to make good use of it.

This is an older, well-used bicycle which has been stored for some time. It has visible wear, weathering and corrosion/rust and will require a thorough check, service and any necessary repairs/replacement parts before being ridden. It may alternatively be useful to somebody looking for a bicycle to restore, repair or use for suitable spare parts.

CONDITION

Please look carefully at the photographs, as these form an important part of the description. I was only able to upload 10 however I can provide many more.

The bicycle is in used, weathered condition and needs attention. There is substantial visible surface rust/corrosion to the chain and rear sprockets/gearing, together with corrosion/rust in a number of other areas. There is also visible corrosion/spotting to the front suspension fork stanchions and some corrosion to metal components and fasteners.

The frame and other areas have scratches, marks, paint chips and signs of age/use.

The saddle is quite heavily weathered, with cracking, deterioration/peeling and some small splits/holes to its covering.

There also appears to be a frayed exposed cable end around the rear derailleur area.

I have not professionally assessed or serviced the bicycle, so I cannot confirm the present mechanical condition, operation or safety of the bicycle or its individual components.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

This is an older, used bicycle being offered free in its current condition.

For safety, the bicycle must be thoroughly checked and properly serviced by a competent bicycle mechanic before anybody rides or otherwise uses it.

This should include, but not be limited to, a full check of both brakes and all braking components, gears, chain and drivetrain, wheels, tyres, spokes, suspension, steering, bearings, cables, frame, pedals, fixings and all other safety-critical components.

There is visible age-related wear, weathering and corrosion/rust to various parts, and I cannot guarantee the condition, operation or safety of individual components.

Please do not ride the bicycle until it has been fully inspected and any necessary servicing, repairs and replacement of parts have been completed.

If collected for repair, spares or as a donor bicycle, please also ensure that any component removed from this bicycle is carefully inspected and checked for condition, safety and suitability before being fitted to or used on another bicycle, and professionally checked/serviced where appropriate.

The bicycle is being given away completely free, as seen, to someone who is happy to undertake the necessary inspection, servicing and/or repairs before use.
