Siberian iris rhizomes (Wallingford)
Siberian iris rhizomes. I dug these up about two weeks ago, so you'll probably want to soak them for a few hours to rehydrate them before planting them, which is what I did with the ones I replanted today. They bloom in mid-May most years. They reproduce mostly by root division, though they also produce seeds. They're very hardy in our climate. I've grown them in my yard for forty years. They don't mind bad dirt or being crowded, but they will bloom better with good dirt and a bit of space to themselves.
