Eccentric two-drawer filing cabinet (Wallingford)
29d
- Metal 2-drawer filing cabinet on wheels. I believe it was intended for storing sewing patterns, and that's what I used it for. It does not have hardware for hanging file folders. I'm in Wallingford. There are 11 steps from the sidewalk to the porch where the filing cabinet currently lurks. Please let me know a day and time when you'd be able to pick up. Thanks.

Obsolete computer games (Wallingford)
29d
- I have a vague notion that there's someone active on Trashnothing who collects games for archaic platforms. Am I right? Would you like these? I'm in Wallingford. There are 11 steps up from the sidewalk to our porch for a contact-free pickup. Please let me know when you plan to come by. Thanks.

Three handsets for landline (Wallingford)

- Obsolete technology in good working condition! We'd still be using these phones, but we now live in an area that does not offer new landline connections. We're in Wallingford. Please say when you'd be able to pick these up. Contact-free porch pickup; there are 11 steps up to our porch from the sidewalk.

6 hat boxes (Wallingford)
Gifted

Rolling kitchen island cabinet (Wallingford)
Gifted
131d
- Rolling kitchen island cabinet with fold-out extensions and power outlet on the back. I used this for extra counter space for years and years and years. It three feet tall, 38 inches long (including the handles), 20 inches deep. The work surface is 28 inches wide with the wood extensions folded down, 56 inches wide when they're folded out. Takes two people to move, and we will need to coordinate pickup details, since it's currently at a storage locker rather than at my house.

Queen size air mattress (Wallingford)
Gifted
131d
- Okay, the picture just looks like a blob, but I assure you that this is a queen-size air mattress, complete with its own inflation pump that you plug into a wall socket AND a bag to stuff the thing into. It's perfectly comfortable for one person to sleep in the middle of the bed; it's awful for two people, as every time one of them moves the other one does, never in a way that they prefer. The bag has handles! It's much better than having nothing to offer your guests, but definitely not as good as I thought it would be. It does stay inflated all night long, but there's a noticeable sag by morning. Perfect for the guests you want to see, but not for very long.

Big old beat-up wooden boxes (Wallingford)
Gifted
133d
- 2 big old beat-up wooden boxes, great for storing basketballs and other outdoor stuff. We've had them on our porch for years. 19.5 inches tall, 47.5 inches long by 19 inches wide; two sliding doors in front. We put cushions on them for extra seating for summer parties. In fact, I can throw in the cushions as well if you want. You'll need help to carry them down the 11 steps from the porch. I'm in Wallingford.

Book boxes (Wallingford)

- Are you moving? Do you have a lot of books? I have 30 lightly-used U-haul book boxes, and I can deliver them almost anywhere in the north end of Seattle (Wallingford, Ballard, Fremont, Capitol Hill, U-District, Maple Leaf, Northgate, et cetera). I'm not unpacked enough at my house yet for you to pick up from me; that will come later, and there will be more boxen later, too. I'm happy to be back in the Trashnothing community after months away from it.

Electric kettle (Wallingford)
Gifted
1y
- Oster electric kettle, still in box. Works fine, but we don't need two of them. Please let me know when you can pick things up, and please don't respond if you probably can't get around to picking up. I've had a remarkable number of no-shows. I understand the hopeful impulse, but it leads to me leaving stuff on my porch through bad weather, which is bad for the items and makes them less desirable for the person who genuinely can show up to get them. I will wait patiently for a few days if you communicate in a timely manner. Otherwise, I will move on if you don't show when you say you will. Thanks.

Tiny tool (Wallingford)
Gifted
1y
- Tiny tool on keyring. Separates into small screwdriver, miniscule phillips head screwdriver, and two hex drivers so small I can't believe they have real world uses. We think this is supposed to be used for working on circuit boards, but we don't know for sure. It's awfully cute. Did I mention that it's really small?
