Photograph of a musk ox (Wallingford)
Photograph of a musk ox on stiff cardboard. Photographer was Joe Manfredini, who lived in Alaska when he took the picture and may very well have gotten closer to the musk ox than I would have found comfortable.

Matted picture of unicorn lady (Wallingford)
Matted but not framed watercolor picture of a fantasy lady's head with a unicorn horn coming out of her forehead. Is this cool or just deeply weird? You decide! It's well-done, but I have no need of the unicorn lady myself.

Framed print of some European city (Wallingford)
Framed kinda old-looking print of some lovely European city, signed and numbered, but I can't read the signature. Hey, maybe it's an etching, and you can refer to it when you offer to show someone your etchings! Maybe it's by some amazing artist and I"ll be sorry when you sell it for umpty-oodle money! Maybe it would just look good on your wall.

Crocosmia bulbs (Wallingford)
Gifted
Crocosmia lucifera bulbs, dug today. They'll bloom in June or July. Hummingbirds love them. Like the daylilies I posted a few minutes ago, they reproduce generously, so you'll want to be judicious about where you put them.

Daylily roots (Wallingford)
Gifted
Daylily roots, just dug up today. As shown in the picture from June, they're an old-fashioned single flowering type. They flowered profusely this year, from mid-June to late July. They do reproduce generously, so it's best to be judicious about where you put them. I have enough to share with several people and may have more if I get around to thinning the rest of the flower bed.

Long black dress & hip-long jacket (Wallingford)
Gifted
Long black dress, long sleeves, high neck, made of slinky knit. Hip-length grey cut velvet jacket. Both size XL, which in this case translates to anywhere from about a 16 to about a 20. The slinky fabric is extremely forgiving. No pockets in either garment. I have machine-washed and dried both garments without a problem, though it's best to take them out of the dryer as soon as they're dry. Contact-free porch pickup.

Canopy frame - JUST the frame (Wallingford)
Gifted
This is just the metal frame for a formerly great 10' x 10' Coleman canopy. Enthusiastic fireworks fans in our neighborhood a few years ago doomed the top. It may be possible to buy a replacement top on the web: , or you could throw a tarp over it, or you could grow vines up the legs and have the foliage provide shade, but we chose not to do any of those things. Are you up for the challenge? Contact-free porch pickup in Wallingford.

Hair jewelry (Wallingford)
Gifted
Rather a lot of pretty nice hair jewelry, clips, and other accessories. I had very long hair for a very long time, but cut it off a final time and donated it about 6 years ago, so none of this stuff has been in contact with a human head in at least that long. I'm taking the shaved head look into old age.
