Vintage pressure canner (Near the Cupertino Library)

Vintage pressure canner -I don’t know that it’s still safe to use under pressure - however it could be safely used as a heavy pot and/or the other parts might be good to use in a more modern canner. Or someone might want it as a historical item. I am guessing that our neighbor, Mrs. Storm, an early resident of Cupertino, gave it to my mother- as I also found Mrs. Storm’s pamphlet on “modern canning”. The canner was probably last used over 40 years ago. We are moving soon- so I am posting in the hopes of finding it a good home.
