silicon carbide powder (Mortimer & Coxwell)

I'd like to get from 400 grit to 600 grit silicon carbide powder. I only need a couple tablespoonfuls of this. I could buy it online but I'd get enough to grind down a battleship. I don't want to waste that much. I want to grind glass to it make frosted or translucent. Thanks.
