Free: Three grey blackout roller blinds – together or separately (Lavender Hill SW11) Three used grey blackout roller blinds, available as a set or individually. All roll up and down correctly, and mounting brackets are included. Approximate sizes (width × maximum drop): 78 × 134 cm 88 × 134 cm 94 × 134 cm The widths were measured end to end across the top fixing points, excluding the thickness of the mounting brackets. Please allow for the brackets when checking whether they will fit. The maximum drop is approximately 134 cm. There is some minor staining, and the 78 cm-wide blind also has some fabric fraying. Close-up photos are included to show the condition. They have been used behind curtains, so the marks haven’t been noticeable in use.

Free: Status desk fan – faulty, for repair or spares (Lavender Hill SW11) Gifted White Status desk fan, offered free as a repair project for an electrician or electrically competent hobbyist. It only works on the highest speed setting and no longer oscillates. Sometimes the blades need a helping push to get going like an early propeller aeroplane! No smoke or unusual smells noticed during use. AI suggests a failing capacitor could be responsible for the starting problem, but this hasn’t been checked. Replacement capacitors of this general type are available online for roughly £4–£7, subject to finding the correct specification. Offered as faulty, for repair or spares rather than normal use. Hopefully a useful little project for someone with the right skills to save from landfill.
