Free: Waste paper bin (Haywards Heath RH16) Metal mesh waste paper bin. 14inches high & 11.5 inches across the top. Very useful for throwing those little bits of rubbish into, instead of dropping them on the floor or having to trek outside to the dustbin😆. There are a few little rusty bits, but they don’t show much, and there are no dents or holes. Apart from the ones that are meant to be there as part of the mesh, of course.😆 Collection from Ashenground Road area.

Free: Pink stuff (Haywards Heath RH16) Withdrawn Unopened pot of Pink Stuff cleaning paste. I suspect that there are a lot of people out there who would love to have this highly desirable item, so I’ll use the Fair Offer Policy (or whatever it’s called…. I can’t remember) & hang on for a few days to see what replies I get. 😆

Free: Cushion cover & matching ‘runner’ (Haywards Heath RH16) Pretty satin-look set to make your bed look posh when there’s no-one in it. (They’ll need cool iron to smooth out the creases.) The runner (as my Nan used to call that sort of thing) is about 8ft 5inches long by 1ft 9inches, so it would lie across a single or double bed. The cushion cover is 18 by 18 inches.

Free: Push-pins (Haywards Heath RH16) 50 unused & brand new (according to Amazon!) push pins. I ordered more than I’ll ever use or need…silly me! Anyone interested? You can have more than 50 if you need them.

Free: 6 Film Pots (Haywards Heath RH16) These little film pots (2inches high) are SO useful for storing things in….beads, pins, screws, board-game items, those odd tiny things you find lying about that you don’t know what to do with etc. etc.. Or use them for the children’s painting sessions…fill each one with a different colour, stand them in a little container like those you can buy veg. in (so the pots don’t tip over), then replace lids at end of the session to keep the paint fresh for next time. However would we manage without them?😆

Free: Florist’s ribbon/Poly ribbon (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Two reels of Poly(not fabric) ribbon, both 5cm/2 inches wide. Each reel originally contained 100m, and very little has been used. One is labelled as ‘eggshell’, the other as ‘melon’…I’d call them ‘cream’ and ‘peach’, but whatever, there’s a lot of ribbon there. Great for enhancing bouquets, floral wreaths or for decorating the tables, cars etc. for weddings or parties. What’s more it is so easy to split into narrower strips for tying up &/or decorating gifts…just cut off the length you want, make a tiny snip at one end, at the width of ribbon you want, pull the 2 sections apart, and Hey Presto…..you now have narrow ribbons each one now your selected width all the way along!

Free: Wooden puzzle (Haywards Heath RH16) Wooden puzzle, good condition, barely used. You have to get the disc - which has different sized bits cut out of it - from one end of the central ‘stick’ - which has even more different sized bits sticking out of of it - to the other end. Free: Christmas stuff (Haywards Heath RH16) Yes, I know it seems a long way off, but it’ll be here before you know it! Both of these contained biscuits. No longer, of course, but the tins are quite sweet, in perfect condition and could be used again, for biccies, for enclosing gifts, or for decoration…in the appropriate season, of course. The tree tin even gives a little light-up ‘Merry Christmas’ messages (there’s a switch at the top) on the surface where the tree stands. How cute is that? Interested? The cards are blank inside, so you can invite six people to whatever sort of event you like… though they might, judging from the picture on the front, expect something alcoholic to drink 😆. Free: Shoe insoles (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Insoles sized 39/40 (that’s 5&a half to 6&a half in GB sizes!). See both photos for more details The insoles are still in their sealed packet, so are as brand new. Please say when you hope to collect. (That’s if you want them, of course.)

Free: Teeth cleaning stuff (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted The two items at the top have never been opened, so are unused, obviously. The 3 toothbrush replacements heads are for an OralB electric toothbrush. They’ve been stored, unused, in a plastic bag in a bathroom drawer. They’re unused because I had to buy a new toothbrush…I bought the black version…and they didn’t fit the new one. They still don’t 🤣.

Free: Glass bowl/ vase (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted Label on the base describes this as “Serenity Fish Bowl Vase”. It’s of quite thick glass, handmade apparently, is 24 inches around its widest part, and 7& a half inches high. The contents - some smallish, pinkish stones, and the fabric flower- were added by the previous owner. Would anyone like to have this tasteful addition to their home? Free: Diamond (Ha Ha! not really!) necklace (Haywards Heath RH16) Gifted The small stones in the main part of the necklace are glass & the big stone is iridescent plastic. The black bit is elastic, so this beautiful item of jewellery (😄) could be worn around the neck or around the head. It looks quite impressive around the head with the big ‘stone’ on the forehead. You could wear it shopping & pretend to be rich, if you aren’t already 😆. Or it could be used for children’s dressing up, or by an amateur theatrics group. The green section is glass and the rest, apart from the cork (which is made of cork😆) is made of an unknown, unknown to me anyway, silvery colour metal. The pen is just to indicate size. Free: Moving boxes & wrapping stuff (Keymer BN6) Gifted Moving house soon? Don’t buy new boxes & wrapping stuff! Here are loads of them that have just done a brilliant house-move job. All the boxes are sturdy, and many have handle-holes at the sides for easier lifting. More to come as unpacking progresses. The ready constructed box in the photo with its little friend beside it, is full of bubble wrap etc. Collection from Ashenground Road area in Haywards Heath or from the new Ockley Park estate in Hassocks.
