grandma's doll/clothes - 1940s (Leatherhead KT22)
My mother made a wooden bed, all the bedding clothing, a hat, a pillow etc for this little plastic doll in the 1940s. All items fit into this raffia lidded box. She was born during the war in 1942 so probably would have made this out of leftover yarn and fabric. In the late 1940s. My grandmother was an expert sewer and made all the families and her own clothes so I suspect she taught my mother how to sew and knit! We are looking for a new home for this little doll so if you're interested or inspired by it as A creative project for your own children or a school, please do come along and take her! ❤️ Can be collected from Leatherhead KT22 8NQ Or Peacehaven BN10 8TF

4 Edwardian dining chairs. Free to collector. On one the rattan seat is broken but all have plywood inserts and little carpet tops to make them fully usable. In fact we have been using them in this exact condition for nearly 50 years! I have taken a photo of each seat so you can see the condition is good other than the one that is broken
