These were from my mom's adolescence. She tells me she kept perfume and lotion in them. I can't tell if they are cut glass or crystal, but the tops are very pretty. The square bottle has a basket-weave pattern on top. Just darling! I'm off Oak Park Blvd. in Pleasant Hill.

Covered butter dish (Pleasant Hill)
This English pottery pattern is called calico. It's super interesting, although I can't tell if it's true transferware. Maybe someone out there knows how to tell. I put a cube of butter on it to show it works for modern butter cube. The colors are true to the pieces. There is some crazing in the dish, but the glaze is not cracked. This is another one I wanted to keep because my butter dish doesn't have a handle (totally annoying), but mine is clear (and from IKEA) which manages my expectations better. My mom is like a middle schooler and not only makes a mess with the butter, but often leaves it empty/smeared. I have been known to cry out, "what monster has done this?" Thanks for listening. This lovely pitcher can also double as a vase. These are nice small vases with a pretty design. If you like them, I can set them aside for you. Honestly, they have a good weight at the bottom and will not tip over. This covered stoneware container comes with a honey dipper and spoon. I don't know why my mom has it, but it is pottery and sort of matches the vibe she had going with the plates. 11 porcelain ramekins (Pleasant Hill)
These ramekins are very pretty and in beautiful shape. They can go from the oven to the table. However, they *cannot* go in the microwave because they have gold edge. Butterfly, lemons, cherries and other fruit or depicted on the outside and inside. I would like to keep them as a set but if more than one of you would only like half, I can divide them by 5 and 6. These were collected by my mom. They are by French and Portuguese pottery artists, an Italian piece or two and the blue plate is modern Spode. Does anyone out there feel wistful about china? Do you throw dinner parties and want some new dishes? I split my china in half and I have so much to give away. Description: English stoneware with a relief pattern of grapevines; various sizes based on the type of dishware. Most items have 6 or more in the set, which includes: 1. Dinner plates (fat edge, image 7) 2. Dinner plates (slim edge, image 9) 3. Luncheon plates (slim edge, image 5) 4. Demitasse cup/saucer (image 1) 5. Standard tea cups/saucer (image 2) 6. bread plates (image 3) 7. Covered sugar (rare) and cream (image 4) 8. Cream soup bowls (two-handled) and saucers (image 8) I would prefer that someone who will enjoy them take the whole shebang. I will give you the felt and bubble wrap I have between the pieces. I do put them in the dishwasher on the china cycle. The only thing you have to be careful of is the relief, hence the felt and bubble wrap between pieces.
