Free: Spider plant (Brixton SW2) A spider plant with multiple babies in need of a better plant-parent. It has a scale infestation and I'm too often away to keep it healthy. Free: Unwell large Benjamin fig (Brixton SW2) Gifted Looking for a loving plant parent with time & patience. My much loved & large Benjamin fig has a bad scale infestation. I've just pruned it back & tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol but I'm quite short & am finding the job is too big for me. The thought of destroying it seems so wrong so I'm hoping there's someone out there who'd have the time to attend to it as it is such a big, beautiful, & usually easy plant. You'll either need to live close by (SW2 5BN) or have a way of transporting it, as it's about 2m high, in a large (plastic) pot. Free: Artist's gouache & watercolours (Brixton SW2) Gifted Mostly Windsor & Newton, Daler & Rowney, Cotman's. I haven't painted for years so they'll be dry, but if you have the patience to open the tubes and mix the colours with water, they'll save you a lot of money! Collect from near Lambeth College on Brixton Hill. Please give a phone number & a time when you could collect if you want an answer as it reduces wasted time due to no-shows etc, thanks.

Free: Paraffin (Brixton SW2) Expired Nearly half full container of paraffin. This is liquid paraffin of the sort you use for garden heaters & lamps. Collect from Brixton Hill, near Lambeth College

Free: Long double ladder (Brixton SW2) Gifted Double ladder, aluminium, each section about 11' (3.3m) long so must be over 20' when extended. Hardly used but has been stored for years, good condition. A lot of people expressed interest in these so priority given to those who give a phone number & can collect today as the person I offered it to has let me down and I'd already got it out. Collection close to Corpus Christi church/Lambeth college.

Free: Basic wooden shelf unit (Brixton SW2) Gifted This shelf unit is scruffy but I found it very useful. It'd be handy in a storage unit or garage. The size is roughly 177cm high, 94cm wide, 34cm deep and it has 5 shelves. All the bolts & the metal brace are with them. Collection a short walk from Corpus Christi church/Lambeth College. No stairs involved!
