Request: Ordinary bed sheets or tablecloth (Grass Valley-Brunswick basin) Withdrawn I need a few ordinary bed sheets to use for covering tables for a yard sale (outdoors). Flat sheets are preferred, though I could cut up a fitted bottom sheet for the same result. ideally solid color or a muted pattern. Any size would work. Large tablecloth would also be useful. If you've got some you've been intending to donate to a thrift store, I'll come to pick them up, or meet you at some convenient spot around GV, Brunswick, or NC. I need them by this coming Thursday. Thank you!
Request: old bedsheets or other large cloth (Grass Valley-Brunswick basin) Expired Requesting large pieces of cloth like bedsheets, larger tablecloths, larger remnants of canvas tarps, painter's drop cloths, fabric from pop-up shelters, etc. I have to cover a few large piles of split firewood, and plastic snags on the rough wood. Large pieces of cloth on top of the wood help reduce holes in the plastic. THANKS!
Free: Concrete piers for fill (Off Hwy 174 in Peardale) Expired I have 7 used concrete piers, plus three 8x8x16 blocks with the holes filled with concrete. These are fine to use for fill. The piers lack the wood block for nailing, and one or two have a bit of concrete adhering to the bottoms. I have no further need for these. Free to anyone who wants them.
Free: drywall 24" x 30 1/2 inches (Grass Valley-Brunswick basin) Expired Bought a quarter sheet of 1/2" drywall at B&C in July, cut off what I needed, have most of it left over (like new). Please save me from storing it to taking it to dump.
Request: Piece of drywall -half or less (Off Hwy 174, near YouBet Rd) Expired I need a piece of drywall for a repair. 2 feet x 4 feet would do it, but I'll take something larger if that's what you've got. Thanks, Gary
Free: firewood (Off Hwy 174, near YouBet Rd) Gifted I have too much firewood, need to move some off the property. There's at least a pickup load of good solid firewood – I think it's walnut, but not certain, definitely not pine, cedar, or oak. It was cut just a year ago, so seasoned but still solid. Thicknesses vary, max about 8 inches diameter, so well suited for an outdoor fire-pit, but fine for woodstove or fireplace. Please save me from needing to haul it to the dump! ;-)
Free: Small fax machine (Grass Valley-Brunswick basin) Expired Sharp brand fax machine, worked the last time I used it (which was at least 10 years ago). I'm located in the Brunswick Basin near B&C Ace Hardware and Save Mart, just downhill from Tractor Supply, just 1/4 mile off Nevada City Highway.
