Free: Chess board and pieces (30x30cm) (Abingdon OX14) Gifted A simple 30x30cm wooden chessboard by Jaques of London. Black squares are printed/painted on. Chess pieces are plastic/resin and we've lost a black pawn so we've replaced it with the a similar sized black plastic screw (see image). It's served us perfectly well but we've decided to upgrade. Please don't request unless you have every intention of collecting. Thank you.

Request: Chess Board 40x40cm (or close-ish) (Abingdon OX14) Withdrawn In the spirit of "if you don't ask, you don't get" ... does anyone have a decent quality wooden 40x40cm (or thereabouts) chessboard that is unused and looking for a new home? We have large pieces for our disproportionately small board, and now my son's getting more serious about chess, I'm wanting to get a board which matches our pieces.

Free: 3 x single duvets + many sheets (Abingdon OX14) Gifted Does anyone want three old single duvets and a black bin liner full of bed sheets? They've all been well used but they are in decent enough condition to be re-used if hidden under duvet covers. A couple of old thin pillows as well, but these are not far being unacceptable and are more likely to be worthy of the tip or craft repurposing. Sadly no duvet covers.

Request: Android phone (Abingdon OX14) Expired My son's second hand 5 year old Android phone has stopped work. Does anyone have a half-decent working Android phone that is going unused?

Free: Large trampoline (8x14 foot) (Abingdon OX14) Gifted Large 8x14 oval trampoline by SkyHigh. Galvanised steel structure which dismantles quite easily. The trampoline itself is working perfectly - with all springs in place. Our children are simply too old for it now. It's 7 years old and bought brand new. The net is torn in places (this could be creatively sewn together) and the edges of some of the padding is just starting to fray (I've taken a picture of the worst example). The zip is also a little troublesome and could do with some work. Collector will have to dismantle (we have tools if you need, but it's pretty much just a case of a spanner and screwdriver and not much else). Our garden is about 20 metres from the driveway, and unless you have a van or a large estate car, it might take two trips. Please don't request unless you are committed to collecting.

Free: Soil (mostly top soil) (Abingdon OX14) Expired Large amounts of soil recently dug from our garden. Mostly top soil. I have carry-able box crates that could be used for transportation. Take as much or as little as you'd like. Be warned there is a 20 metre pathway (all paved) from the roadside to the soil. You are free to use our shovels and wheelbarrow if you'd like. We can also lend a bulk bag for transporting in your car if you'd like, although we'd like it back at the end.

Free: Large Parasol (Abingdon OX14) Gifted This is a large Parasol which is well weather worn. The main cover could be extensively cleaned and possibly returned to it's former glory. The very top cover needs repairing creatively or replacing. The main closing/opening mechanism is in working order (if slightly stiff at the very top) and it's an impressive system. The poles could do with a good scrub down. We have the base stones (four large quarter circle slabs) in our garden which can be unearthed. It's quite large and would need an estate car at least.

Free: Basketball stand/hoop (Abingdon OX14) Gifted Old but surprisingly robust and sturdy basketball hoop. 200cm to rim, 241cm to tip of backboard. It is technically adjustable to go higher, but I can't shift the necessary pin for love nor money (nor WD40). Which also means it is not detachable (unless you're handier than I am and/or have the right tools, which is very possible). So be prepared to fit the entire thing in your car in one go. We have a decent size Skoda Octavia estate and it was a tight fit.

Free: Crocks (Aldi brand) size 10?11? (Abingdon OX14) Gifted These were size 9 and came with inbuilt sock liners. I cut the sock liners out, only to find they suddenly jumped up by a size or two.
