Dark Green Leather Armchair. (Ormskirk L39)
This was part of what was, in its day, a very expensive three-piece suite. The three-seater couch and the other armchair are quite worn, but this chair was only sat in occasionally, so has survived in very good condition. Dark green leather and wood construction and still very serviceable. Bear in mind, before you ask for it, that it needs to be collected from Ormskirk (Southport side) no later than Saturday 10th, as the property must be cleared. Approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are: 98cm high x 98cm wide x 95cm deep. Can assist with loading.

Large wood cabinets/display units x 3 (Ormskirk L39)
These belonged to my parents and are over 40 years old. There are three of them, each exactly the same size (approx. 6' or 1.8m tall x 3' or 1m wide by about 2' or 60cm deep) and all in the same style. Two are identical, the other is more of a display arrangement with glass doors. If you need exact dimensions, let me know and I'll try to get them. Priority will be given to anyone who can take the lot, or more than one unit. But either way, please only ask if you have the means to collect them from Ormskirk (Southport end) no later than Saturday 10th, as the property must be cleared.

These belonged to my parents and are about 70 years old, so the fact that they remain in decent condition should tell you something about the quality! Ceiling fan with built-in lamps. (Southport PR8)

We took this down years ago and it's been in the loft since. Worked fine when removed. Brass body, not sure what the fan blades are made of, but they will need looking at, as they've started to crack and are warped from the way it's been stored. I'm sure some new blades could be cut from thin ply or similar. The lights would be controlled by the existing light switch, the fan is operated by a pull-chain on the unit, 2 or 3 speeds from memory. Any use to anyone before it goes to the tip?

This hasn't been used since it was superseded by an air fryer. I've plugged it in and it appears to be working (lights up and starts getting hot almost immediately). It will need a bit of a clean before use, as it's been sitting around for some time.

Mitre Saw (Southport PR8)

Mitre saw for cutting wood, up to 45 degrees left/right, can probably cope with up to around 4" x 4", maybe 5". Has been lingering in the cupboard under our stairs for years, so is dusty and the blade has surface rust, but nothing a good clean and lubrication wouldn't sort. It's had very little use, so the blade should still be sharp.

Alba Radiogram - vinyl player & radio. (Southport PR8)

This belonged to my late, great uncle, and it has languished in our spare room for decades - it needs a new home! I guess it's from the sixties. Some marks on the woodwork, see photos. It works, in part: the radio works fine, volume control a bit crackly when adjusting, but OK otherwise. The turntable goes round, but it's reluctant to play a record, suspect a dirty or faulty stylus. So probably best suited to someone who has some knowledge of such things and fancies tinkering with it. It would be a shame to tip it, but it needs to go, so hopefully someone will want to save it. Not particularly heavy, but quite sizeable at over four feet in length. May be able to assist with local delivery.

See photos. We have two sets of these: first set is 'Prestige' brand, has 200 multi-coloured lights and various different flashing sequences, work fine, still boxed. Second set is 'Tesco' own brand, has 100 multi-coloured lights and also various sequences. Also working fine and still boxed. This set are not as bright as some, so possibly more suited to use in a less brightly lit environment - around a porch or window, for example. Would prefer to spread the Christmas spirit around a bit, by giving each set to different people! So please specify if you have a preference for either set. However, if there are no other takers, then both sets could go to one person..

Kodak colour photo printer. (Southport PR8)

This is a Kodak ESP 5250 colour photo printer. It's a few years old, but really hasn't been used much at all. However, after a period of inactivity, I tried to print some photos and they didn't come out too good. Thinking it might be the ink cartridges at fault, I bought some new ones (colour & black). This did improve it somewhat, but it's still not quite right. If you know anything about the workings of such things, I suspect you could coax it back to life - maybe needs a clean and/or service? Seems a shame to bin it, as it really hasn't done much over the years, so I can't imagine there could be that much wrong with it. Will come with the leads, power supply, original manual and I'll even throw in the new ink cartridges I bought recently.

WH Smith paper shredder, in perfect working order, little used. Can handle up to six sheets at once, and has a credit card shredding facility too. It's a cross-cut type, for extra security.
