Free: TV corner unit (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have an antique vintage corner unit. Made from imitation stained dark wood mahogany, it has a shelf for your VHS cassettes, CDs and DVDs! There are two opening doors with a very pleasant wood fluting, in front of the glass. It has witnessed many TV shows over it’ s life including the very first Coronation Street, Morecambe and Wise, Knots Landing and more recently Love Island. This is a very solid unit and will probably be in one piece in the next century. Slippers not included. Please indicate in your reply when you can collect. Free: Small wicker basket (Poynton SK12) Withdrawn Hi! Here we have a small basket. Has been used to store my computer start up discs, Internet pass words, and secret stash of mars bars. Beautifully made, it appears to, have been woven by hand. It measures 29 cm long by 20 wide by 8 cm deep. It is in great condition apart from small white tipp ex mark on inside of base. Free: Birthday candles (Poynton SK12) Withdrawn Hi! Here we have some birthday candles my wife bought incorrectly, I am, in fact 65. They are made of golden wax. Mounted on a cocktail stick so they can be stabbed into a cake or someone making nasty comments about your age. We put them on the cake nevertheless, and blew them out under cover of darkness. Having been used once they are ready for someone else to commiserate with surviving another year. Boasting a height of 7 cm for the number and a further 4 cm of cocktail stick they will fit anything from a small wafer thin mint to a full size 3 tier cake. May be useful for children aged 5 and 6. Free: Computer desk (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have my old computer desk. Made of grey MDF held together by a million Allen screws this will still be standing when WW3 breaks out. It had an iMac on the top shelf and another at waist height to put your keyboard and mouse on. There is a lower shelf to out your paper, printer and bars of chocolate. The desk part measures 72 cm wide x 60 cm deep. It is 70cm high to the middles shelf. Has had a good wipe down today and is ready for more adventures. Free: Bulbs for car (Poynton SK12) Withdrawn Hi! Here we have some headlight and tail light bulbs. They are still in the blister packets. They were for one of my old cars but I cannot be certain which one it was. The numbers for the bulbs are on each packet. It could be for a Seat Altea or VW Passat, they may fit others of course. I have been to Halfords today and was going to, take a photo of the card which shows what they fit, but it has gone digital! It is brown and has a swivel facility, as well as facility of moving the backrest in and out, it does not tilt. Free: Antique chairs with legs (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have two old chairs that have been handed down as heirlooms over the years y well meaning grandparents. They have proved invaluable over the years in providing sturdy support for those extra bottoms that visit at Xmas when you have not got enough chairs. By letting your distant relatives sit on these, and saving the best chairs for ourselves, we ensured they got the message they were welcome, but the hardness of the seat ensured that saddle sores ensued and they returned home reasonable hour, usually after the Birds Trifle, allowing us to play Ker Plunk or Twister with the better off relatives. They wear their history with pride in the form of lots of scratches and some paint marks. The darker one appears to be hardwood and would make a great upcycling project. This was probably handmade in England, looking at the joints. The lighter colour chair has a stamp under the seat saying ‘Foreign made’ but does not give any clues at to where. Free: Storage cupboard with shelves (Poynton SK12) Expired Hi! Here we have a wooden storage cupboard used in a school setting for stationery storage. It has two doors which have been taken off to save space, unfortunately part of one cup type hinges has been lost. One door is able to be attached with the remaining hinges in place, the other will need a new cup type hinge or replaced with another type. I This has been used for stationery, it could also be used in a garage to store tools, paint cans, secret chocolate stash or other things safely, it is that sturdy. Free: Glass TV stand (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have a stand in glass, it has three shelves. The upstanding are in lovely polished steel. Originally used to house a TV and computer game, could also be used to put your plants on or stack your TV licence reminder letters. It is 60 cm wide x 43 deep x 50 high. Of course they’re not real puppies but my wife has treated them well but now they need someone younger to, care for and to play with them. Free: Coin collectors book (Poynton SK12) Expired Hi! Here we have a book aimed at coin collectors. It is from 1997 so only covers coins issued before then. It is a limited edition, hard back book. I have put a photograph of a couple of the pages to give you an idea of what it covers, it is wide ranging and was helpful to my relative who collected Roman coins. A good way of learning about history, or seeing how value you might have lying around with that shiny coin you saved ‘just in case’ Thanks.

Free: Single brushed steel switches (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have two switches left over after our electrician fitted lots of these in our house. Regretfully, they have sat in the garage for over a year and am now unable to get a refund. They are screwless flat plate in brushed steel. Free: Personal safety alarm device (Poynton SK12) Gifted Hi! Here we have six small personal alarms designed to be carried with you when you feel unsafe, they are in the shape of a mouse. My wife found it useful when walking at night and travelling on the train. They could also be handy for children. They have a lanyard so can fit round your neck, held in your hand or attached to your belt. Once the cord is pulled from the mouse it sounds an ear deafening shriek, (much louder than my wife’s) to deter an attack and draw attention. Here we have the actual grill George Foreman the boxer used whilst he was getting in shape for his fights with Mohammed Ali, which he no longer needs. Alas, despite me putting several chicken breasts in over the years my boxing skills never improved. This has had a good clean and comes complete with the drip tray.
