Unlike other vacs, this one has a simple on/off switch to save gripping a trigger for long periods. Needs a bag… As-is the bag-detection interconnect micro-buttons in the outlet aperture have to be wedged so they are pressed for the powerful device to power up. It is essential you commit to a collection day AND hour in your reply, so please have a think before firing off that “any time” reply.

Free: Step ladder - 3 broad area steps (College Town GU47) Gifted Surplus to reqs. Easy to unfold. Auto locks when opened. Stable feel when stood on it. Easy to press the lever on the top step with one’s thumb and fold the ladder.

Free: Hutches for hedgehogs (College Town GU47) No windows, just a flip-top 2’6” X 1’6” X 8” wood box with HH hole and internal chicane for wind break. Note that a hedgehog would just as likely sleep in a cardboard box or pile of leaves or on concrete under a shelf unit as one of these relative palaces (in our eyes). So, if you don’t have a hutch after this try simple alternatives. A little hay at a time in this warm weather, cat food kibble (cheapest supermarket brand), and an ever present shallow but heavy water bowl would encourage visitation. They may not stay, just eat and go. That is when a PIR camera would give you more fun evidence of visits. Hogs have almost no sense of hygiene and tidiness compared to mice and rats, so frequent mucking out is required… Put a disposable sheet down first, then add hay.

Free: Fridge (faulty) larder professional type 585X800X2100mm (College Town GU47) Came in one day and the fridge was no longer cold. Fault could be the fuse, or, could be something expensive. Brushed metal casing, professional kitchen look. Superficially in very good condition. Was in office kitchen getting little use compared to domestic. Have been tasked to take the fridge to the tip (but as no investigation into the fault has been performed am offering here). Collection will not be immediate.

Free: Water softener. Takes salt. (College Town GU47) Expired It is second hand. Connects via washing machine hoses and mains plug. I have not installed it due to lack of uncluttered space but am assured it is in gwo. Has about a 50cm footprint and is about 40cn tall.

Free: Electric motor and the faulty paper shredder it resides in (College Town GU47) Expired 240v motor vgc (tested). The cross-cut shredder powered by this motor was from a large office. An internal gear broke under too much strain (powerful motor). Collect the whole part-dismantled unit. If desired, I will help load vehicle.

Am going to order a new one shortly, but if you can help, that would be wonderful. Free: WiFi dongle with USB. Plug ‘n’ Play (College Town GU47) Gifted Also useful if the WiFi signal is weak because you can put this on the end of a USB lead and position the transmitter independently of the device using WiFi. Out of a window for instance.

Free: Mower (Flymo Easimo compact) spares (College Town GU47) Gifted This was brilliant for mowing between nooks and crannies until the bearings in the motor wore out. Replacement of bearings is easy but I cannot remove the belt guide from the end of the motor spindle in order to slide the spindle out of the bearings housing. All parts there. You may want the grass box, the blade, the wheels or the wire but please take the lot. If interested please put collection time in the format hhmm to hhmm am/pm. Sorry, ‘Anytime’ will be ignored as that is technically impossible. Please put some thought into it :o). Thank you.

Free: Darth Vader’s helmet (College Town GU47) Gifted Donald Trump has been after this for his new fascist-wear line, so you had better get in quick before he can afford the import tariff. Sing along now... Da Da Da, Da da-Da, Da da-Da Da. Freegle kindly warns "Using helmets that have been involved in a crash is not recommended." However, It is okay because Darth was not in the Death Star when it exploded. This helmet did come in for some centrifugal spinning at the time though so was taken out of service. Please state your intended collection time in the form of "Monday 10:00-10:30am" for example. I am (not) altering the deal, (so there is no need to) pray I don’t alter it further... Potato for scale.

If yours is flaky this is a ten minute installation under an inspection hatch under the laptop - for Inspiron anyway.

Free: Work light (College Town GU47) Gifted Just the wire and device. Plenty long enough wire to light your way far from a socket. House loft or garage loft would be examples of long term fixtures for this useful light. For portable uses like working on a car in the road, this works well, and in tandem with a head torch, the target area can be lit all round.
