SEEDLINGS - tomato & pepper (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) More than I can use in my own garden. Young plants, various varieties. Cherokee purple mostly, also sweet pepper varieties. I've grown them all before & they do well in Waterloo region climate. Please let me know whether you'd like tomato or pepper (or both) and when you could pick up. I'd like to share with as many as possible. You can grow any of these plants in a typical 5-gallon bucket.

Pink bleeding heart plant (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired MORE volunteers showed up. Blooming now. VERY shade-tolerant to moderate sun.

Battered veteran outdoor table (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired 63x38 inches, was white but now weathered. 8+ years old. I've been using it as a potting bench/dog-toy storage. It's still sturdy. For grubby outside work, it's ready to go; however, a coat of paint for outdoor resin would brighten it up. I used Rustoleum on a chair of a similar resin and am still using it. I would paint the table but it's always been too big for my space and I found something that's a better fit. There's a small piece chipped from one edge (I kept that against a wall.) Disassembled, top is clumsy but not heavy, I'm an old lady & can lift it easily.

LILY OF THE VALLEY plants (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Ours have had a growth spurt and there are far more than we need. A great ground cover for shade areas. I'll do fair-chance but that's hardly necessary, there are dozens. Re 'family friendly,' this is a poisonous plant so kids should be old enough to understand DO NOT EAT.

Aloe Vera offshoots (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired My aloe plant throws off new seedings every so often, and I have one now established & ready for a new sunny windowsill. This is the traditional aloe used for burns and mild abrasions. It's too small to use yet (it'll probably be at least 6 months to a year) but might be a nice small gift for a plant lover (or yourself!)

These are TINY seedlings, about 2" high, but they can grow to a pretty large plant--a good long-term houseplant because that can take years. Typical succulent, needs good light and drainage but really easy keepers. Might be a good holiday present for a plant lover.

Sealy twin mattress (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Gifted A few years old but super-clean (mattress cover used all the time) DOGS AND CATS IN HOUSEHOLD, though. I bought a firmer one; this might not be firm enough for a full-size adult but should be fine for children or young teens--or a stretch-out-and-relax bed for a REALLY BIG DOG.

Double bicycle carrier basket (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Gifted This is an older item, two baskets with a metal strap that holds them on a bike's rear luggage rack. I'm retired from bike riding but these have a lot of service left and are great for short grocery runs. 7"x14"x12" deep. Galvanized

rose of sharon seedlings (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Either white w/burgundy heart or pink w/dark pink heart. No idea which, both self-seeded. I have at least half a dozen, will dig them up when requested. Please suggest pickup time. These are 1-2 years old and will probably bloom next summer. Canada-hardy hibiscus, loved by hummingbirds & pollinators, makes a gorgeous hedge that can be trimmed or small tree 10-15 feet tall.

Fresh Peppermint herb - NO SPRAYS (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Size various, color green. I planted one little peppermint years ago and it's a mint.. it's trying to take over. I'd also be delighted to re-home rooted plants. Makes great tea and nice accent in salad.

CLEAN MOVING BOXES - medium size (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Someone asked for moving boxes and I responded, offered, and arranged pickup. Receiver failed to pick up and did not tell me until much later in the day that she'd found some elsewhere. SO ... if anyone is moving, or sorting out old household stuff - I've got 2 assembled boxes, 3 flattened ones, and 4 medium-size (case of apple juice.) offer is first-come because there's now a heap of cardboard boxes on my porch. Anyone moving soon?

Baby Jade & Bleeding Heart seedling (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Jade plant is very small (a cm or two) but with potential to be a good-size houseplant. NOT big enough to leave outdoors at this point (full-growbn, they can summer outside but can't survive our winters.) ALSO: bleeding heart plants (new this season but perennials, will grow to laundry-basket size and Rose of Sharon seedlings (white or pink, not sure which they are, we have both.) MANY Rose of Sharon and several bleeding-heart seedings.

Salvageable parts of a baby crib (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired This may be an odd one, but I'm looking for the railing sections of a baby crib that is no longer safe for an infant. We adopted a rescue pup and figured that once she was house-trained we could put the crate away, but she *likes* the den space even if the cat sometimes uses it. So rather than have this big metal cage in the living room, I'm hoping to find pieces of a crib that I can repurpose as a sort of playpen for the pup. Anybody out there with a few too-good-to-trash but not safe for a kid pieces & parts? Thanks!

Garden perennial/herbs (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Gifted Feverfew, ornamental and medicinal herb, lobed leaves and daisy-like flowers. I'm not an herbalist, please look up medicinal properties for yourself Easy to grow, inclined to spread. I also have a couple of Rose of Sharon seedling trees (about a year old, should bloom next summer) and Lily of the Valley, dying back now but will bloom in mid-Spring. Let me know which (or all) you'd like.

SUNBEAM heated mattress cover, twin (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Gifted Used but still working well, (received a new one at Xmas) just realized I stored it instead of giving it away then. Can be flattened out over a double-size bed for center heat.

Tower fan needs minor work (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired This is a medium-height Holmes tower fan. It squeaks when it rotates but is ok in a stationary position. Probably needs to be taken apart and cleaned but I'd rather let it go to someone else who's handier than I am.

cardboard boxes, herb plants (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired I have 6-8 clean cardboard shipping boxes, medium size. Suitable for moving. Two long but narrow boxes that could be used for pictures or pillows. FEVERFEW plants, PEPPERMINT, and Goldenrod. (Goldenrod doesn't cause hayfever, and it makes a nice tall background plant against a fence. Feverfew is a bushy plant with small daisy-like flowers. All plants are folk-medicine remedies but I'm not an herbalist so best look that up for yourself.)

Baby aloe plant (off bridgeport rd near 85 ramp) Expired Just what it says - Mama plant keeps pupping. These are big enough to go to new homes though it will be at least 6 months before they're big enough to use. Aloe sap is excellent first-aid for burns and the plant is a handsome succulent. If post is up, rootling still available.
