Free: Books, very old (Mickleover DE3) I have ancient copies of Pollyanna (by Eleanor Porter) and Cranford (by Mrs Gaskell). They are both in a poor state (Pollyanna the worst), they are entitled to be as so old. Pollyanna was originally given to someone at Christmas 1927 but I know nothing about Cranford. I was about to throw them out but hesitated as both are classics of their time and there might be someone who has not read one or both of them. I will keep them for a bit longer, but not a lot longer, in case anyone wants them.
Free: Books (Mickleover DE3) I am disposing of the following books. Watership Down. The Watsons (Jane Austen). Bridge on the River Kwai (VERY old, price was three shillings and six pence!). Unspeakable Acts (humorous?). Idi Amin, the further bulletins of. (a send up of Amin). The Chamber (John Grisham). I would prefer them to go together, I am trying to get rid of things I’ll not read again.
Free: Crab Apples (Mickleover DE3) I have hundreds, if not thousands of crab apples. If anyone would like to pick some, before the tree gets cut back, to make crab apple marmalade or whatever just get in touch with me.
Free: T shirt (Mickleover DE3) Anyone been to seaside resort of Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, on American east coast, or thinking of going or even just like T shirts? I have a grey one size medium which says on the front “Hilton Head Island South Carolina”. I’ll never be going again and I really don’t want to bin this T shirt, which is in excellent condition.
Free: A handy tool (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Handy for camping or any holiday. It is a corkscrew, a bottle opener and a small penknife. Size when folded 4.3 inches. If you don’t look as if you are over 18 years old please bring ID with you.

Free: walking trousers (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Size 16S. I don't know what the S means, normally short but these are not short! I would describe the colour as a sort of khaki green. They have one small repair (caught on something the first time I wore them!) but not significant - in fact as I am now I can't find it!
Free: CDs (Mickleover DE3) Gifted I have 2 ReWritable Sony compact discs, never been used. Also 10 non-rewritable Tesco discs. I will not be wanting them - does anyone in Freegle land?
Free: Pet carrier (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Sandy colour, Pet Voyager 100 if that means anything to anyone.

Free: Lens filters for instant ear thermometer (Mickleover DE3) Withdrawn A poor photo I’m afraid. I don’t want to bin these if anyone can use them.

Free: Clothes pegs (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Quite a lot, not the old dolly pegs but the spring ones, wooden and plastic ones.
Free: Travel Wallets (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Both black, one has AATKings on it (Australian travel co.), the other has Titan Hitours. I'm sure you all know what they are for! Places for passport, tickets, money - what ever you like. I would say one is leather and the other some sort of strong fabric.
Free: Moneybelt (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Beige/fawn colour. This is the sort of belt that goes under shirt etc. so hidden from sight - quite slim, not bulky. There are two zip pockets. A label indicates it was bought at Blacks, I can't remember!
Free: Gents umbrellas (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Both black and both, when folded, are 17” long. One has a small hole but I don’t think much rain would get through!
Request: Clock (Mickleover DE3) Withdrawn My Carriage Style Quartz Clock has recently given up on me. (It did belong to my Mum so I can’t really complain!) I really do miss it, it’s only about 4” high and I would love to have a similar clock if anyone has one that they no longer use.
Free: Cat activity centre (Mickleover DE3) Gifted I was gifted this a week or so ago but my cat won’t go near it, prefers her scratching post that is on its last legs! Apart from scratching posts there is a ladder, platforms and all sorts of other things. I didn’t put it together (no instructions) but you could have fun trying to get the many pieces assembled! Don’t think you could carry it, it’s quite heavy, you’d need transport to fetch it (well I would but I’m not very fit). Anyone interested?
Free: Door bell (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Tecknet door bell model WA658, white, as new. This bell works fine but it started ringing when no-one was at the door. My son says the most likely problem was that someone nearby had the same model of bell, which would have been on the same frequency. I know nothing! But I believed him! So I’ve got another new bell and offering the Tecknet to anyone who wants to give it a go!
Request: Cat scratcher post (Mickleover DE3) Received My cat has wrecked all of the furniture and now, after ignoring it for years, has just about wrecked the scratching post! If anyone has one going spare I would be extremely grateful.
Free: R R tie (Mickleover DE3) Gifted I have a blue Rolls-Royce tie embroidered with the logo plus “25”.inside a circle. I don’t know whether they still give these ties which denote 25 years service but there may be someone who has served 25 years but didn’t get a tie, but would like one
Free: CD rewritable (Mickleover DE3) Expired I just have one rewritable Sony CD-R. It seems a shame to bin it as someone might like to have it.
Free: Tray cloths (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Does anyone still use these when people visit for a cup of tea or what have you? I have four. I don’t think they have ever been used, certainly not from the look of them. Three are rectangular, one is oval, and they are all quite pretty. They are all embroidered, I would say machine embroidered.
Free: Bread Knife (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Prestige bread knife, not for resale. Only available to over 18s. If you could appear to be under 18 years old please bring id to check on pick up
Free: Black & Decker (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Electric screwdriver, it didn't work when I tried it but might not be much wrong, BUT there are numerous screwdriver bits - if that's what the screw heads are called - which could be very useful.
Free: screwdriver set (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Draper "precision tool set". 6 screwdrivers from3.8mm (small) down to .8mm (very small), the box is broken but could quite easily be made ok.
Free: Knives and a couple of pickle spoons (Mickleover DE3) Expired Two grapefruit knives and three cheese knives plus another hard to describe. It takes slices off a wedge of cheese. The two pickle spoons (different sizes) have the bowls at right angles to the stem and the top of the stems are curved so that they can hang from a jar.
Free: A number of bricks (Mickleover DE3) Expired These are from dismantling an old BBQ, would be suitable for hard core etc.
Free: Small cheese board and ice cream/potato scoop (Mickleover DE3) Expired Cheese board is approx. 6 x 9 inches and has a knife with it although I don’t think it’s the original knife. Not much to say about the scoop, it’s design is of the original type and it has a yellow handle.
Free: Cafetiere (Mickleover DE3) Gifted It claims to be for up to 8 cups but that would have to be small cups as capacity is about 1L. I still have the assembly etc. instructions if required.
Free: Salad spinner (Mickleover DE3) Expired Used but like new. 23cm diameter, 11cm high.
Free: Steamer (Mickleover DE3) Expired As far as I know this has never been used. It would sit on pans from 6” to 8” diameter.
Free: Trouser/skirt hangers (Mickleover DE3) Expired The sort that get smaller to fit the garment. Unfortunately they now get far too small for me!
