Free: Insulated Bag (Stockwood LU1) It's an insulated bag, useful for transporting things and keeping them cold or frozen. In this weather, it could be useful for a trip to the park. It's about 22 cm × 27 cm x 30 cm. Pick-up only from Stockwood Park area.

Free: Towel Rail (Stockwood LU1) Could anybody use a towel rail? (I've moved on to hooks to save space.) It's chrome effect. There's very slight sign of tarnish but a bit of Duraglit would solve that. Collection this weekend or next. Not for resale.

Free: Small plastic plant pots (Stockwood LU1) Promised I know it's probably the wrong time of year, but if anybody needs a load of small ( 8 - 10 cm) plastic plant pots, I've got loads. They're mainly grey, although a handful are terracotta colour or black - even pink. If you could use them let me know.

Free: Solar bird bath fountain (Stockwood LU1) Withdrawn It seemed like a good idea, but it squirts all over the balcony - and that's not a good idea. It's 15 cm in diameter, and it floats. It's solar-powered, so a bit hit-and-miss but should be OK in summer. If I can find them, there are different nozzles. I know I put them somewhere safe... Not for resale. Collection either this weekend or next. (Other times by negotiation.)

Free: saucers for plant pots (Stockwood LU1) Withdrawn PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST BEFORE RESPONDING. I'm having a bit of a clear-out and I have some saucers for plant pots that are surplus to requirements and just taking up room. They are ceramic or terracotta, and generally about 22cm. They are: Light blue (3) I may have one matching pot for that. Dark blue (3) Black (2) These are for gardeners only not for resale. Collection will be either this weekend or next - and we'll need to agree a time. (No, I can't wait in all day, just in case...!) If you're interested, let me know which ones you'd like.

Free: A bag of bubble wrap (Stockwood LU1) Withdrawn I've got a large bin bag full of (used but still usable) bubble wrap. Some of it is large bubble, some small. It's not worth travelling for but if you're close to London Road and need to do some packing (or you're just stressed and want to pop bubble wrap), this might help.

Free: Mint plant (Stockwood LU1) Gifted I've got a spare mint plant. It's the normal mint for cooking. It can go in the garden in in a pot.

Free: Spider plants (Stockwood LU1) Sit down with a cuppa for this one. I've got loads of spider plants. I mean loads. I never meant to have this many - and the plants are having baby spider plants. And they take up even more space. I have small plants. Medium size plants. Big plants with lots of babies. I need to part company with some of them. I need the space to be honest - I'm in a flat not a palace. I may want to keep the pots, so it’s probably the plants only. THESE ARE NOT FOR SELLING ON. If you're interested, let me know what sort of size you might be looking for. If there's lots of interest, I'll share them out. Believe me, if you get one you'll soon have dozens of the beggars. I'm going to give it a few days, so please don't try to rush me saying you'll come today. It’s likely to be this weekend or next. Unless the triffids - I mean spider plants - decide otherwise. I'm near London Road, so please bear that in mind.

Free: Glassbottles with corks (Stockwood LU1) Expired Hi I was saving these bottles for somebody, but they only wanted one! They are about 20 cm and hold 250 ml. They are clear glass with a cork stopper. If you could use them, let me know.

Free: Office chair (Stockwood LU1) Expired It's a blue fabric office chair - adjustable, with arms. I no longer work from home, but if anybody else does and needs a chair, this might just be the job.

Free: Bird feeders (Stockwood LU1) Gifted I've a couple of metal bird feeders - they're designed for peanuts and the birds around here prefer sunflower hearts, so I thought I'd see if anybody else can make use of them.

Free: Plant pot holder thingy (Stockwood LU1) Gifted This was in the flat when I bought it and it annoys the Hell out of me because it's pointless (previous owners used to store things in there, but they drop out!) Anyway, it's four zinc-type plant pots on a frame. It's not in great condition - you can see bits of rust etc, but may be OK in a garden. Collection only - I'm normally around in the daytime. It's the London Road end of town.

Free: Photo colour laser card (Stockwood LU1) Gifted It's quite old but I don't think that'll matter too much - I think there are about 40 A4 sheets left. So, if you're printing photos on a colour laser, could be worth a try. (I've got a laser printer that may only need toner, but that'll be coming on here shortly if anybody is interested.) Free: Horticultural fleece (Stockwood LU1) Gifted A few metres of horticultural fleece - sorry the pictures is so dull but horticultural fleece is what it is. I'm no longer using it as I've heard that it doesn't help plants, but it may work for you. Collection only.

Free: A bit of jasmine (Stockwood LU1) Gifted It's a bit of jasmine in a small (9cm) pot. It's hardy - it's parent plant was in a pot on the balcony throughout the winter. It's not neat and a bit straggly, but it should fill out when it gets a permanent home. Collection only - I'm near London Road. I'm usually in during the day (or can be) with a bit of flexibility. It can go to the first person with a good reason for wanting it.

Free: Curtain rail (Stockwood LU1) Gifted This is a black metal curtain rail (don't get too excited, it's OK but not brilliant). It has three brackets and 14 curtain rings. It is about 165 cm unextended - and nearly double that if you extend it (although I wouldn't go too far). Previously it held quite heavy curtains (I'm swapping for blinds), so is pretty sturdy. It doesn't have finials (those decorative bits at the end) as it just fitted where it was. There are a couple of white paint splashes, but nothing major.

Free: Under bed boxes (Stockwood LU1) Gifted I've got two of these under bed boxes - they're OK but they don't have lids, so are better for long term storage for things that are already covered or bagged. (I do seem to create a lot of dust - which ends up in the boxes, so I'm getting some with lids.) They are black painted plywood (one side is unpainted as that won't really be seen). They are approx 60 cm x 93 cm x 18 cm. Fair use policy applies (so please don't hassle me for a quick decision). Thanks.

Free: Ice pack (Stockwood LU1) Expired Can anyone use an ice pack? I used it to deal with gout and swollen feet - TMI, I know! - but I don't need it anymore. It's one where you add ice cubes (it doesn't have gel or anything inside). It's been in a cupboard, so it's a bit dusty - but it still seems watertight, and that's what matters.

Free: Old leather bags (Stockwood LU1) Expired I've got three old leather bags. There's a large black shoulder bag (38 cm x 27 cm), a smaller brown shoulder bag (30 cm x 27 cm) and a brown rucksack (40 cm x 30 cm). They've not been well looked after (and the zip on the rucksack is knackered), and the brown ones are quite scuffed, the black one is in better condition. If not useful as bags, maybe someone can repurpose the leather. If interested, please say which bag you would be interested in. .

Free: Magnets (Stockwood LU1) Expired I've got about 10 magnets - suitable for putting on fridge etc. Some are plain metal, others are coloured. Free: Laundry baskets (Stockwood LU1) Gifted These are IKEA laundry baskets - cream cotton (I think) on a wooden frame. There is minor discolouration on the cotton from when I tried to polish the wood (I really should know better). They're good, but I'm running out of space - but I have kept one for myself. Priority to people who would use them, so not for resale. Collection by arrangement - but it's not urgent, so I can hold on to them if necessary. Thanks.

Free: Hanging bird bath (or bird feeder) (Stockwood LU1) Gifted It's blue ceramic - about 20 cm diameter - with detachable chain. It's allegedly a bird bath but I used it as a feeder. Free: Small glass jars (Stockwood LU1) Gifted Hi I've got a dozen or so of these small glass jars - they are the sort that herbs and spices come in. I was saving them for somebody and I can't remember who (and I can't remember where my keys are either - it's becoming a habit!). They are about 8 cm tall and I have about a dozen of them - I've listed it as one as I imagine nobody will want just one or two. Anyway, whoever I was saving them for hasn't asked for them so I may as well let them go. (I've also got some Bonne Maman jam jars if they're any good for anybody.) Free: Glass wine cooler (Stockwood LU1) Expired Is a a wine cooler or a vase? Who knows - but it's taking up valuable cupboard space so I'm looking for a good home. It's glass. It's 16 cm diameter at the top and about 21 cm tall. What else do you need to know? Let me know if you might provide it with a good home. Free: Bean bag covers (no filling) (Stockwood LU1) Gifted I've got two massive brown cotton bean bag covers. They are about 175 cm x 175 cm - and they are different shades of brown, so don't match. I've kept them, hoping at some point to find room for them. That's not going to happen, so I may as well try to find them a good home. You'll need to buy filling, but they are wonderfully comfortable. (I can recommend a stockist - and buy the 'beans' in bags, not loose.) Priority for people who will use them, so not for resale. Free: Clothes airer (Stockwood LU1) Gifted It's a standard clothes airer - very useful, but I've already got one, so this may as well got to someone who can use it. IMPORTANT: it wobbles a bit because one of the feet is missing, but if you contact the manufacturer you may get a spare foot free of charge. Free: Wooden fountain pen (Yes, really!) (Stockwood LU1) Gifted Yes, it's a fountain pen - and it's wood. It takes ink, so you don't need cartridges. I didn't get on with them really - I found the nib a bit scratchy (but that mat be just me being heavy-handed). So, if you want to give one a try (these haven't been used), let me know. You may have better luck than me. Probably not worth a special journey, so priority to people near Stockwood Park. Thanks.

Free: Dwarf French bean seeds (Stockwood LU1) Expired I've a spare packet of Wilko dwarf French beans tendercrop - with a sow by date of December 2026. I'm not going to sow them (I'm short of space), so free to a good home - near Stockwood Park.
