Manual alarm clock (The Camp AL1)
I have one from a freegler but it stops sometimes. I have a deep dislike of batteries. I tried buying a new manual one but it failed to work. Can collect by bike locally

Free:
Electric iron (The Camp AL1)
Gifted
I actually have 3 and never used in decades. They all warm up plugged in but one doesn't light up so maybe you should have the others. Not guaranteed safe so I will dispose of if no takers. Don't drive here, I will deliver locally if you give phone number

Free:
Used radiator (The Camp AL1)
Promised
Neighbours moved out and left it against my wall for ages. I hadn't realised it wasn't owned by new neighbours. I don't know whether it works. Recycling company refuses to collect as low value. Outside ready to collect

Free:
Wooden storage shelves (The Camp AL1)
About 2 feet tall maybe. Been gathering dust and needs fuller cleaning. Functional rather than attractive. Just too much clutter otherwise would keep. Preference given to someone who drives along London road anyway rather than special journey. I can leave outside, not visible from road

Free:
Carrier bags, dozens (The Camp AL1)
Mostly average size, various supermarkets etc. (Had a mammoth sort out to remove any with holes after years of hoarding.) Won't be able to use that many. Can deliver by bike locally, weather permitting. Willing to split. There should be an option for "countless" under "how many are you giving away"

Free:
Thin plastic sleeves for CDs (The Camp AL1)
Fair number, most in reasonable condition, willing to deliver locally by bike within St Albans when weather allows and health permitting. Phone number for texting would speed up arrangements

22d
Free:
Metal screws (The Camp AL1)
mostly wood screws. Willing to split and you can take what's useful to you if you have time to look through. May be able to bring to you by bike if local, weather permitting, but a freegler has taken middle sized ones now. A phone number may speed up contact.

22d
Free:
Loads of plastic wallets (The Camp AL1)
Transparent, A4 size, variable condition. Ones in photo not the best. Generally suitable for filing things in ring binders. Willing to split if more than one person interested. It asks how many I'm offering but too many to count. Not good enough for charity shops and not worth fuel to collect but I may be able to deliver locally

Free:
Rear wheel of bike (The Camp AL1)
Withdrawn
Sorry I can't see size possibly 27in but you need to check if coming. Rusty and worn but probably usable as stopgap. Nobody responded to front wheels which I took as scrap. Maybe this is more useful to someone. I prefer that nobody drives here to look at it unless coming along London road anyway or you could get bus here but not if fares high as it may be wrong size etc. Give phone number if wanting quicker collection. I'm out part of the day most days. Can leave outside with sufficient notice

CD towers (The Camp AL1)

Apologies for poor photo. Perfectionists need not apply. One is about 5 ft and made of very pliable wood apparently with a solid base. Some of it is bent out of shape but maybe can be bent back in shape. Likewise the two made of metal with a wooden bit holding together but not well based on floor. All dusty. I don't like people driving specially to collect what they've not requested on freegle but I'm by the 602 bus stop in London road or you can tell me if you drive here anyway so no fuel wasted. Take one or more. Give phone number for quickest response after I check the site daily. Thanks for reading. Doug

Paper to write on (The Camp AL1)
Expired
Been hanging around years and I can't use it all. I don't want anyone driving here but you can get a bus to London road or in St Albans I can deliver, by bike, health permitting. It may not all be perfect but usable.

Free:
Music cassettes about 80 (The Camp AL1)
Expired
All years old and third hand if you take. Mostly prerecorded classical esp instrumentals, some home tapings. You can even select type you want. Reluctant to part with but never listen now. Free cassette holders thrown in if wanted, just need dusting. If you live within 3 miles I may be able to drop off by bike or you can get bus along London road by arrangement. Not keen on people making special trips by car. Give phone number for quicker arrangements please. I see the site once a day usually. Doug

I bought one but it didn't work. Another freegler gave me one but although it's fine for the time, the alarm quickly stopped working. I will collect by bike locally, weather permitting

I bought one but it stopped working altogether. A freegler kindly gave me one but the alarm soon stopped working although it's good as a clock. I will collect by bike within St Albans weather permitting

Scrabble set (The Camp AL1)
Gifted
100 pieces and board and 4 tile racks. Not perfect but need to rinse the tiles. Box isn't included as damaged. Also oddly I have 7 tiles from another set and they form a word! See picture. I can put in a carrier bag and bring to you by bike locally 3 miles weather permitting. Ideally give me a number to arrange quicker. Thanks. Doug

Bicycle bell (The Camp AL1)

The one I have won't attach to the handlebars now and it's hard to estimate size to ask for missing screw. Helps if you give a number to arrange collection in St Albans if you have one. Thanks Doug

Free:
Monopoly board game (The Camp AL1)
Gifted
Two boards. One folds up but neither is perfect after years of disuse. Looks like the contents are complete. I can deliver within 3 miles by bike if you want to arrange by text more quickly than otherwise. Need to declutter. BTW I am in London road but trying to get freegle volunteers to show this rather than the Camp which is nearby

Free:
2 wooden tables: choose one (The Camp AL1)
Expired
The first has no legs so supply your own. The top is probably something other than wood, smooth and just needs cleaning quickly but not done as headed for recycling centre. The second has legs but is about 70 years old and could be covered or worked on to create coffee table or storage place or use in shed etc. I'm not happy with people driving specifically but if you pass London road we can arrange easier by text if you give me your number. Both could be recycled very soon if I find a driver as I have lots of scrap wood to go for recycling just now

Bike front wheels 26in (The Camp AL1)
Expired
I have hoarded too many of these in case needed but taking too much space. Most from mountain bikes. Prefer that people don't drive here specially. On London road between St Albans and London Colney by a bus stop. Best to give a number to arrange viewing. Take one or several. Should be usable. No tyres, rim tapes or tubes offered but usually size 1.75 to 2in. Willing to wait till you are passing this way

Free:
Plastic wallets for ring binder maybe 100 (The Camp AL1)
Expired
Mostly reasonable but many are a bit creased but still usable. More than I'm likely to use. If you give phone number it may be quicker, as I only log in daily. I can deliver locally by bike 3 miles or so. (Not keen on any driving to come here specially). Take a few or more

Mine from a freegler has served reasonably well for a few years but less reliable now. Will cycle to collect weather permitting within about four miles around St Albans Easier if you give phone number. Thanks Doug

Free:
Freestanding electric 3-bar fire (The Camp AL1)
Expired
Not needed or used in about 30 years. Used to be OK but WARNING you probably need to replace the lead as it's badly frayed and could be dangerous. Dusty. About two foot square at front. Sorry I don't dare test it now, you should try outdoors. I'm on London road between St Albans and London Colney so if you drive this way I can wait till convenient or you could use bus stop 30 yards away. Prefer you don't drive far in case it's no good.

Front wheels for mountain bike (The Camp AL1)
Expired
Not too bad but I've kept more than I am likely to need and they're in the way. I don't want people driving here to view but happy to let cyclists check whether suitable. I don't know how to measure the rim width etc but most are 26inch. No tubes, no tyres , sorry. If I have a phone number I can arrange more easily.

Needs to be smallish to carry on bike and quite local 4 miles radius. My machines don't work now and I want to check which tapes to keep while trying to declutter my tiny property. Thanks for reading
