Free: Zanussi freezer – under-counter (Tiffield NN12) Working fine. Dimensions (mm) : 547 W x 855 H x 585 D (with handle 625 D) 4 compartments (check out the pictures) : - 3 full-depth - top open, middle two with wire mesh trays - 1 half-depth – bottom with door With manual Why is this available ? We wanted a bit more storage space so got another, pre-owned, one that’s wider. But the extra width allows for increased thickness of insulation so the actual interior size is a bit less than our Zanussi ! That’s progress ?!

Free: Reading lamp on stand; adjustable head/light (Tiffield NN12) Expired Has a heavy counterweight but needs careful handling to remain upright when moved. Some enhancements have been made to help it stay up when in position. Works fine, foot operated switch on 1.5m mains lead The light part can turn and angle up & down. We just kept it down, all the time, as that suited our needs. About 1.45m high, & 60cm front to back. [Suggest it would need to be transported in a car with rear seats folded, or in an estate.] We like it but we now need to move it from time to time - and had forgotten that it prefers not to be moved !

Free: Ryobi cordless grass strimmer (One+ battery system) (Tiffield NN12) Gifted Model CLT1830LB. For reducing grass height and, once it’s been turned over, for creating neat edges. Extendable shaft length. With manual and spare line. Has been an excellent garden assistant. Light, comfortable to hold, easy to use. Still works fine but, after a long life, you can see in the pictures that the cord has eaten into the holder for the spool of line. Suitable for light domestic duties, not as a landscaper’s tool ! NB this is offered as a ‘bare tool’ ie without battery. It is designed to be used with a Ryobi One+ 18V battery. (I’ve upgraded to another Ryobi One+ trimmer so still need the battery)

Free: Compact active sub-woofer (Tiffield NN12) Gifted Eltax A-6.2 Can act as an amplifier (hence ‘active’) for a pair of speakers as well as for the sub-woofer. The possible connections are shown in the picture of the back. Dimensions cm (approx.) : 27 D x 25 W x 28 H With manual. There’s a slight hum, more noticeable in our set-up as the unit is tight into a corner. It now seems to need more input than our pre-amp can provide. And, as our music tastes have changed, we no longer need the extra ‘thump’ ! So it’s surplus to requirements.

Free: Well regarded vinyl turntable (Tiffield NN12) Expired DUAL CS-505 II. There are good reviews on the internet. Has been unused for some years. What works - all the bits for the arm are there so it can be balanced and then set up with the correct playing weight & bias; I’ve checked that. – the arm can be unclipped and moved towards the record; there is a ‘click’ which means that the motor should start; but it doesn’t. Maybe the on/off micro-switch is sticking. What’s not so good - there is a cartridge but no stylus; an ‘O5E’ would be a good, starter, replacement; available on the internet for less than £9. An essential item ! - the drive belt looks like it ought to be replaced. Any generic ‘CS505’ belt should do; available on the internet for less than £4. Until the motor is running you can’t check if the belt is OK enough. - the pitch adjust belt has disintegrated; available on the internet for about £6. If you’re pitch sensitive then this could be necessary to set the exact playing speed. - there’s no lid; hard to find these days. Free: Logitech C615 WebCam (Tiffield NN12) Gifted Decent webcam, with stereo mics. Standard USB A connector. Has a stiff-hinged clip – the side is shown in one of the pictures. Could be used for surveillance as well as for video meetings The pictures show the webcam with various settings options (using the software below). The full-screen view is in use in a Zoom meeting. The bear shot is to show detail when used in normal close-up. Recommended free software to set it up – in use in attached pictures – is ‘Cyberlink YouCam 365’

Free: "Waterrokit" kit to make water powered rocket (Tiffield NN12) Expired In addition to this kit you'll need a bicycle pump and an empty drinks bottle - plus some water to charge the rocket each time; and a large (at least 50m side to side) empty space. The yellow connecting pipe can screw straight into a pump or into a pump adaptor. With instructions (part of an instruction page is pictured)

Free: 3 x SATA HDD (250Gb; 500Gb) (Tiffield NN12) Expired 1 x 250Gb; internal 2 x 500Gb; 1 x internal + 1 x external (in housing with USB lead & mains lead); NB the housing can be opened easily & the HDD extracted to use elsewhere. All have been wiped clean and formatted (MBR/NTFS). The internals were in a desktop (now replaced by SSDs). The external was in use as a backup device. Prefer all to go together.

Free: Broadband Router/modem - opened, never used (Tiffield NN12) Expired Branded Zyxel; model VMG8924-B10A. Described as "Dual Band Wireless AC/N VDSL2 VoIP Combo WAN Gigabit IAD". Was supplied by John Lewis to be used with their internet package but was never used. This will work for any ISP; basic instructions are included and full instructions are at (Italian website but manual in English).

Free: BT Sonus 1500 cordless answer phone (Tiffield NN12) Expired Tested with batteries taken from another device. [This needs 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries.] Works fine. Manual can be downloaded from the web.

Free: Butane Calor gas cylinder nearly full (Tiffield NN12) Gifted Friend clearing out garage found this. It looks OK. Weighs nearly 30kg on my scales; as the nett is 15kg that suggests a lot of gas inside.

And, of course, soon after that delivery the printer died and was not economically repairable.
