Free: Two Danfoss thermostatic radiator valves (North Hinksey OX2) These fit on to a radiator and control the heat output according to the setting on the valve. These are Danfoss valves and fit to the radiator with a collar that is screw-tightened.

Free: Four Danfoss radiator thermostatic valves (North Hinksey OX2) These fit on to a radiator and control the heat output according to the setting on the valve. These are Danfoss valves and are secured to the radiator with an Allen grub screw. Two of the valves react to local temperature, two to a sensor at the end of a wire, so can be positioned away from the radiator.

Free: Seven Drayton thermostatic valves for radiator, new (North Hinksey OX2) These fit on to a radiator and control the heat output according to the setting on the valve. These are Drayton valves with a screw fitting and they need a suitable screw thread connection on the radiator.

Free: Timber supports from dismantled decking, various condition (North Hinksey OX2) Gifted We're removing a large area of decking because the wood supports beneath have become rotten in places. The timbers are pressure treated softwood 50mm by 150mm in cross section and of lengths up to 2.6m. The wood appears to be sound over a large proportion of the total area and we offer this to anyone who would like to retrieve it from the framework and take it away to re-use. Note that some of the timbers are seriously rotted.

Free: Canon scanner Canoscan 2400F (North Hinksey OX2) This has no power cable, so I can't test it to see whether it's working. However, power cables are apparently available on the web - eg , at a cost of around £9. The scanner is also quite old - Canon don't offer a current driver, but there are a number of articles on the internet which gives advice on how to run it on Windows 11. The scanner makes copies of photos and documents, with the white surface in place (2nd photo) and it also has the capability of scanning slides and transparencies, with the white surface removed as seen in the 3rd photo.

Request: Philips blender jug (North Hinksey OX2) Expired I have a Philips blender that has both a small grinding unit (shown in the picture) and a jug, which I broke and threw away some months ago. I now find I miss the blender jug and would very much like to find another. The blender is very old (the model number is HR1375/A) and Philips stopped stocking spares a long time ago. I hope that someone might have the jug that they no longer use. If so, I'd give it a good home! Many thanks...

Request: Wood pallet (North Hinksey OX2) Received We made a wood store some years ago with pallets for the walls, and one of the pallets has had a branch fall on it. We'd like to find a replacement, of approximate size 190cm x 110cm. We can collect.

Free: Large piece of Norway maple (North Hinksey OX2) Gifted We have a piece of Norway maple tree trunk (see photos) which we don't need. It's too big and heavy to lift and will have to be cut with a chain saw before it can be chopped in to logs (which wouldn't be ready to use until next winter). This wood is available for anyone who would like to cut it and take it away.

Free: Beechwood armchair (North Hinksey OX2) Expired This is a really comfortable chair, with a solid beech frame, but without a fire label for the foam seat cushion. The cushion upholstery is worn in a couple of places and the underside has a few marks on it, as can be seen in the photos.
