Bush 14" CRT TV and set top box (Keswick CA12)
This small TV incorporates players for DVD discs and VCR video tapes. It is a CRT device, not a flat screen, so is fairly large. The TV cannot receive digital TV, but there is a Humax set-top box which receives digital signals and converts them to the analogue signals that the TV requires. An external aerial is required. There are no remote controls but the buttons on the front panels of both devices do what is necessary.

Water retaining crystals for pot plants (Keswick CA12)
Gifted
Four sachets of "dry planet" "Water-less" crystals. The packet says "Dry Planet's Water-less crystals work by absorbing water and then slowly releasing it to your plants as they need it. This should reduce watering by up to 4 times and help the compost structure and reduce fertilizer/feed waste too." Use only a small amount in each pot, as these crystals swell a lot.

Apples (Keswick CA12)
Gifted
Our apple tree has more fruit than we can use, so we have put a basket of apples on our front wall for anyone to help themselves to. Some of the apples have a few spots or blemishes, but these are mostly superficial and they are fine when peeled. They are not very sweet this year - probably due to lack of sunshine - so might be best stewed with a little brown sugar and cinnamon. They are at 29 Stanger Street, Keswick, CA12 5JX - come up Stanger Street and turn left at Lincoln House. - Leonard Will
