This item is available for sale on the RNIB web page, where it is described as follows: "DK203 The boil alert is a handy tool if you’d like a reminder that you have a saucepan boiling on the hob. Made of stainless steel, this unique aid warns you when water starts to boil in a saucepan."

Two small fruit forks with ornately carved handles. These are probably made of bone, but might be ivory or possibly plastic, believed to be many years old. Vintage?

Vintage Noizy Chef pot boiling indicator (Keswick CA12)

One of these was recently sold on Etsy, described as follows: Clear vintage "Noizy Chef." Made in France. Solid glass. "A nifty little kitchen gadget- it is supposed to rattle in the bottom of the pot when it reaches a boil. Handy for the visually impaired - hear the water boiling and simmering. The different temps should rattle at different speeds/sounds. I've never actually tried it - but it looks neat. Has a little curved section on the top rim and bottom rim. Sometimes these are sold as ashtrays - and the curved sections would probably make it possible to use it as an ashtray -or even a chopstick rest or paint brush rest. Weighty enough to use as a paperweight. Approximately 3.25 inches across."

                  Gifted
This was one of the first small digital cameras produced. I bought it for £517 in 2001. It is complete with an instruction booklet, charger and memory card, and still works fine when connected to the power supply. The battery pack (NP-FS11) no longer works, but replacements are available on the internet.

Bush 14" CRT TV and set top box (Keswick CA12)

This small TV incorporates players for DVD discs and VCR video tapes. It is a CRT device, not a flat screen, so is fairly large. The TV cannot receive digital TV, but there is a Humax set-top box which receives digital signals and converts them to the analogue signals that the TV requires. An external aerial is required. There are no remote controls but the buttons on the front panels of both devices do what is necessary.

Partly used bottle, but still a fair amount in it. Claims to kill broad-leaved weeds in a lawn without damaging the grass. As we no longer have a lawn, we cannot use it.

Water retaining crystals for pot plants (Keswick CA12)
                  Gifted
Four sachets of "dry planet" "Water-less" crystals. The packet says "Dry Planet's Water-less crystals work by absorbing water and then slowly releasing it to your plants as they need it. This should reduce watering by up to 4 times and help the compost structure and reduce fertilizer/feed waste too." Use only a small amount in each pot, as these crystals swell a lot.
