IKEA Worktop "Lagkapten" 120cm x 60cm (Woodmancote GL7)
We have 3 of these worktops to dispose of. We bought them as reserves for a project but didn't need them. They were discounted as they have some of their paint finishes worn off, mostly small areas on the edges, but nothing major. (see photos - see if you can spot them on the 2nd photo; the 3rd one has a pencil line which I drew on it - but that comes off with an ordinary pencil eraser. They are "egg box" construction with substantial plywood edges; this is quite wide where the legs (not included but available from IKEA pretty cheaply) would be screwed on. In "old money" they are 4 foot by 2 foot, so big enough for a reasonable desktop (which is what we're using the others we bought for). You'll need to collect them from near North Cerney (north-ish of Cirencester).

3 core SWA cable (steel wire armoured) (Woodmancote GL7)
There is about 5m of this, left over from a project. It is rated to carry 13A (I think the cores are 1.5mm^2 section). You'll need to collect it from near North Cerney (about 6 miles north-ish of Cirencester).

Free:
Armoured Cable about 5 metres (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
This is about 5 metres of 3 core SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) 2.5mm cable, easily able to carry 13A. It is plastic covered to give additional protection for the galvanised steel wire from rusting. This was left over from a project, and has been kept in the workshop since, so it is dry. You'd need to collect it from about 6 miles north of Cirencester.

2x "half" pallets (near Cirencester) (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
I need to dispose of two what I call "half" pallets - they lack boards on the underside. They are approximately 1200 x 1200mm (4 foot square), and one or two of the boards are partly broken (see bottom of photo). You would need to collect them from about 6 miles north of Cirencester. Moderator note - it is not safe to use treated wood for firewood, as it releases toxic fumes Kind Regards Diz North Cotswold Freegle (Cirencester to Moreton-in-Marsh) Volunteer northcotswoldfreegle_group-volunteers@groups.ilovefreegle.org

Vinyl LP postal packages (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
These are substantial cardboard packages for posting the old 12 inch vinyl LPs. One would hold 1 LP, the other would hold 2 possibly 3 LPs. They were apparently new when send to me recently, so only one use so far, but too good to just put in recycling. You would need to collect them from about 6 miles north of Cirencester.

Tower computer & monitor - Woodmancote GL7 (Woodmancote GL7)
Withdrawn
I'm giving away my 12 year old tower computer and its old style 16" monitor. The motherboard has worked well with Windows 10, but is apparently not compatible with Windows 11, so I've upgraded to a new machine. This one on offer has 2 DVD writers, 2 USB slots on the front panel and 4 more on the back. The front also has sockets for mic and headphones. There are also mic and headphone sockets on the back, as well as an ethernet socket, an RGB socket, and parallel output socket and old style Serial 9 pin, and PS2 sockets. The hard drives I had in it have been removed, and there appear to be 7 slots for hard drives (etc.). I added an additional fan to the back plate. The Power supply is rated at 600W. The interior could do with a careful vacuuming. In its working configuration it was running quite slowly, but I'm thinking that was due to 12 years of clutter in the system registry (which would be replaced with a new op system, as that would be on the removed C: hard drive). There's plenty of life left in the case and DVD drives; it would benefit from a new motherboard and (obviously) Hard or SSD drive(s). It also comes with a CTX RGB monitor (and cables), and I'm not aware of any failed pixels. The pair would need to be collected from Woodmancote, near Cirencester.

Under bed storage boxes - Woodmancote (Woodmancote GL7)
Gifted
4 wooden boxes / trays for under-bed storage. They have casters to enable easy movement. They are 850mm (33.5") wide x 675 (25.5") deep x 200 (8") high. They are very well made, with dovetail joints, and a reinforcing strip across the bottom where it would usually sag. You will need to collect them from Woodmancote, near Cirencester. I'd like them taken as soon as possible.

Steel frames of two office desks (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
These are the powder coated steel frames of two office desks. The two colours show the two different frames. The steel tubes might well be useful for someone's project. I need them gone. (The desktops have already been re-purposed). Collection from near North Cerney, Cirencester. NB: this does not include the folded frames or the wood at the back.

IKEA Malm over-bed table (Woodmancote GL7)
Gifted
A Rare opportunity to have this IKEA Malm over-bed table in birch veneer. It has been used, but still looks almost as good as new. It has rollers, so it can easily be moved from the bottom of the bed to where you can sit up in bed and reach it. It can also be used as a side table on its own (as we have mostly used it). It is 190 cm wide, by 36 cm front to back, and 73 cm high. It can be flat-packed for easy transport. IKEA no longer list this table, so few will be available to buy. You'll need to collect it from near North Cerney, Cirencester, Gloucestershire. We need the space, so as soon as possible would be helpful.

Electric convector heater - wall hanging - Woodmancote, GL7 (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
This is fully functioning (when last used about 8 months ago). It has two heating levels, to a maximum 3kW, with a dial to set required temperature, and a switchable fan to boost it around the room. It has an automatic cut-out if its airflow is restricted (in order to prevent it catching something on fire). It has two clips for hanging it on the wall (they're in the bag taped to the middle), and a "flying lead" with a 13A plug, correctly fused for 3kW. We recently "down-sized" and no longer need this.

SWA (steel wire armoured) 3 core cable - Woodmancote, GL7 (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
About 3 metres of 3 core 2.5mm SWA cable. This is suitable for exposed use or when buried. It would need appropriate sealing "glands" at each end, but they're easy to obtain. Minimum bending radius is 6x the cable outside diameter (it's about 16mm o/d). You would need to collect it from GL7 7EJ (more details if you let me know you want it).

Teak oil - nearly full can - Woodmancote Nr Cirencester (Woodmancote GL7)

Loft Hatch - Woodmancote (north of Cirencester) (Woodmancote GL7)
Gifted
In our new-build bungalow, we recently had our loft boarded and the hatch extended, so this is spare - virtually unused. It would fit an opening which is 720mm x 552mm, and has an outer overlap of about 62mm all round. It opens by sliding it forward a bit then it hinges downwards. The door can be removed for fitting the frame. It has an insulation sheet of about 50mm thick built in. It was in our brand new bungalow, so should meet current insulation regulations. You'd need to collect it in person from the Cirencester (GL7) area.

Garden chairs - Woodmancote Near Cirencester (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
We have 6 wooden (teak I think) garden chair to dispose of. The seem perfectly sound, and should last a good while longer. I managed to put my foot through the matching table when I was topping off a gazebo, so we've replaced the whole set. They'll need to be personally collected from Woodmancote near Cirencester (not the Bishops Cleeve (or other) one.

Office chair - Woodmancote (north of Cirencester) (Woodmancote GL7)
Gifted
We have a different colour scheme and this doesn't match, so it is available. Everything works - the gas lift raises and lowers and stop where you need it (without leaking and dropping your height); the back can be raised and lowered and locked in place, and its angle adjusted. The casters run smoothly, and it swivels freely. I really didn't want to get rid of it, but (as I said) it doesn't match the decor and the new one does. We're in Woodmancote, north of Cirencester, just off the A435.

Packing boxes suitable for moving house (Woodmancote GL7)
Expired
We have about 20 packing boxes which we used when we recently moved house. They've been flattened for easier storage, and easier transport. There are three or four sizes, so some are big enough for a duvet (if you squash it in), whilst others are smaller, but still big enough to be too heavy if you fill them with books ! We're just north of Cirencester.
