Short sections of used decking (Peachcroft OX14)
Decking - about 25 sections that are cut up to be circa 50cm long each. Note that this has been pressure treated as external wood and since painted with wood stain but much of this has since worn off. Advice from a Google search is that it shouldn't be burned as this can release the toxins that are impregnated in pressure treatment, so this is really being offered for construction purposes.

Short sections of pressure treated wooden frame & decking (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
Our wooden climbing frame was well used but reached the end of its life and couldn't be dismantled for re-assembly. I also replaced a section of decking so have the wood from both to dispose of. Note that in both cases this is previously pressure treated external wood. Advice from a Google search is that it shouldn't be burned as this can release the toxins that are impregnated in pressure treatment, so this is really being offered for construction purposes. There are three types of wood and fine if you want to take some and leave others: * Circa 50 sections which are generally 7cm x 7cm (3" x 3") and 20-25cm (6"-8") long. This came as pressure treated (to survive outside) and has never been painted or stained since. I've removed most of the nails/screws/fixings but some small metalwork may remain. I =was thinking these could be firewood but was then told about the advice not to burn. * Wooden frame - about 20 sections cut to lengths between 80 & 120cm, mostly 7cm x 7cm (3" x 3") square sections. This came as pressure treated (to survive outside) and has never been painted or stained since. Most of the metal fixings have been removed but some remain. * Decking - about 25 sections that are cut up to be circa 50cm long. The decking was originally pressure treated and has since been stained or painted by myself a number of times over the years, however much of this has since worn off.

Old decking & climbing frame beams for burning (Peachcroft OX14)
Withdrawn
I've replaced some decking that was getting rotten and dismantled a climbing frame. Please collect the wood if you can use it for burning: Decking - about 25 sections that are cut up to be circa 50cm long. The decking was obviously originally pressure treated and has since been stained or painted by myself a number of times over the years. I've used standard B&Q wood stain or exterior paint, much of which is now worn off but don't know how any chemicals may have seeped into the wood. Wooden frame - about 20 sections cut to lengths between 80 & 120cm, mostly 7cm x 7cm (3" x 3") square sections. This came as pressure treated (to survive outside) and has never been painted or stained by myself since. Most of the metal fixings have been removed but some remain.

Beech effect corner TV unit (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
Beech effect unit, intended for use as a corner TV unit. TV goes on top and below is an open shelf for PC, console, DVD player etc and below this a drawer. Two shelves on each side for display if left open. Measurements are 73cm wide & deep and 49cm high. Main recess = 45cm x 48cm x 21cm, drawer 45cm x 33cm x 17cm. Please note the top shelf has a lighter patch in the centre from where the old style TV used to sit. Also much of the left side has been cut away to allow for cabling to the various devices so you'll want to block this off with something.

Fireman's pole (from dismantled outdoor playframe) (Peachcroft OX14)
Expired
Blue fireman's pole from a dismantled children's playframe. You can either have just the pole or I can also supply with the 2"x2" upper wooden beam that it was attached to. The pole itself is 214 cm long and there is a welded threaded end which adds an additional 9cm to the length. The pole is hollow metal (probably steel).

Free:
Wooden climbing frame (not yet dis-assembled) (Peachcroft OX14)
Expired
Mostly wooden children's climbing frame including slide, wooden ladder, rope ladder, climbing wall, cargo net and fireman's pole. This needs quite a bit of garden space with the main section being 3m long and 1.3m wide (and 2.8m tall), however with the ladder and slide included the width becomes 4.7m so you really need 3m x 4.7m of ground space for the full frame (although you could choose to exclude or move some bits if needed). The deck is 1.4m off the ground and accessible using the wooden ladder, climbing wall, rope ladder or cargo net. It's generally in a reasonable state for its age (about 15 years old) but the beams that are in contact with the ground are rotting (see last photo) and you may want to consider replacing these, all the other beams seem solid but there is definitely some sway in the frame with too many children (or teenagers) on it. Also the rope to assist with the climbing wall is very frayed so you'd probably want a new rope for this. Please note - you will likely need a van to collect this as the longest beams are 2.8m in length. Please also note that I have not dis-assembled this (and am not offering to do so myself). If you are interested in this you should expect to spend some hours disassembling it and then the same to rebuild it at the other end - this isn't complicated but it will need basic DIY skills and time. I expect some of the bolts and fixings will be very stiff and could be difficult to remove. I may be able to help with disassembly depending on when you want to do it, but I am working most days and looking to give the frame to someone who could do it themselves (I'd suggest you have at least two people). If you have a few people and a large enough van I think you could take this in sections rather than breaking down to the individual beams, which would save on re-assembly time. The to this listing. In your reply please tell me how you plant to dismantle and move the frame.

Purple window blinds (to fit 210cm wide * 108cm deep window) (Peachcroft OX14)
Expired
Purple (appear a bit reddish in full sun) vertical window blinds taken from a recently re-decorated bedroom. They are a fixed size and not easily adjustable so your window would need to be 210cm wide and 108cm deep (or slightly bigger). They are a little discoloured from years of blocking sunlight but the mechanisms for drawing the blinds and turning closed or open work fine (two chains at the left side). At the bottom of the blinds a plastic line of beads should connect to each blind but a few of these are broken (see last picture, although doesn't stop the blinds being open and closed).

Free:
Double-braced steel keyboard stand (one leg slightly bent) (Peachcroft OX14)
Expired
A sturdy double-braced keyboard stand that was used for a very heavy keyboard. One of the legs is slightly bent which means you need to add some padding under it to stabilise, or you could try bending it back into shape. The second photo shows what should be a straight line and the third photo zoomed in to show the crack that exists. Folded down the stand is 100cm long and its 34cm deep at the keyboard end and 45cm deep at the feet, easily adjustable to one of five heights using a steel lockpin.

Free:
Family size (5 person) tent - old & not waterproof (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
Family sized tent with central living area and bedrooms at both ends. It is an Outwell 'Winfield Plus' model. The tent is circa 10 years old and was initially used a few times per year but hasn't been used in the past ten years or so as we upgraded (and TBH I forgot we had it stored in the loft). Technically sleeping room for five (three in the larger bedroom, two in the smaller) but quite tight unless at least some of the people are younger children. Bedrooms are inner tents that clip into the assembled tent and have integrated groundsheets but the main tent does not (although there is a separate groundsheet which fills the gap between the inner tents. When we last used it it was starting to leak so can't be trusted to be waterproof so ideally suited for fair weather camping or as a play tent. Note: Fair Chance policy applies, to give people more time to respond.

Older tech wireless (not bluetooth) over ear headphones. (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
Pair of over ear headphones that can be used to watch TV without annoying other people. Note these are not bluetooth headphones as would be commonly used nowadays. Instead there is a 'charging/transmitting base' that you place the headphones in to recharge after use and this needs a wired connection to the headphone socket of your device (probably a TV but could be anything with a standard 3.5mm jack socket). This base unit then transmits the audio to the headphones wirelessly so will only work if you stay relatively close (pretty much same room). Bought a long time ago and have been lying unused for some years. Supplied with power lead and audio cable that connects the base to the audio source.

Free:
Electric heating pad (for people with back problems) (Peachcroft OX14)

Adjustable heat and with straps at the top and bottom to hold the pad in place. Measures 60cm long and 40cm wide and my daughter used it to provide comfort when she had back pain (but hasn't used it in some time now) . NOTE: Fair chance policy applies to give people time to reply.

10m long type 2 EV charging cable (partially working) (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
10m long charging cable suitable for most modern electric cars (type 2 connections on both ends). We were using this with our home charger but started encountering unreliability issues and have replaced it. However it still works somewhat and may be OK with a different charger (we have a Zappi) or car (we have an Ioniq 5). We had been using the cable for about 2 years with no issues but more recently it would start charging but stop before it should have. Generally it would charge between 3KWh and 7KWh and then report that the "EV was full" when it wasn't. Unplugging the cable and plugging it in again would give the same result so you could fully charge the car but only if you went out to the charger every 30-60 minutes. We did various tests to conclude that the issue was with the cable and indeed since replacing it have had no issues. If you want to try using it with your own charger and car you are welcome to it.

Tag-along chariot that can be attached behind any bike (Peachcroft OX14)
Gifted
Tag-along chariot that can be attached to the back of any bike and used to transport a relatively small child, or just as a trailer to carry other things. Supplied with the fixings to attach to the bike frame but can be easily removed and attached as required. This is getting pretty old now so shows some signs of surface rust on the attachment bar and wheels but all seems to be solid. It's a Halfords Trail Buggy and the wording inside says its suitable for a child up to 100lbs (45kg) and it has harness straps. The chariot is 60cm wide (including wheels), about 75cm high and about 80cm deep plus a further 50cm for the bar that keeps the chariot away from the back wheel of the bike.
