Wide, low drawer unit with shelf (Bussage GL6)
See pictures. This is an attractive and very well made, heavy piece of furniture and it will probably need two people to handle it and a large vehicle to collect it in. We think it’s a light oak wood effect chipboard. The sides of the drawer appear to be solid wood. It’s in excellent condition apart from two strips of fading on the long edges of the top surface (it was covered with a runner which didn’t quite reach the edges) - see photos 4 and 5. Dimensions: 90 cm (35+”) wide, 52cm (20+”) deep, 53cm (21”) high. The internal depth of the drawer is 33cm (13”). Collection from Bussage. Waterproof leg cover for showering (Bussage GL6)
This is used to protect a leg which has a plaster cast or other dressing on which you don’t want to get wet in the shower. It slips on like a stocking (but loosely) and the foot is textured so it’s non-slip. The top is a stretchy plastic which grips the thigh to make it completely watertight. The foot is huge so can be used by anyone! Only used half a dozen times and it’s in perfect clean condition in its original bag. These have been used for storage in our garage and will need a clean up… Note that two of the drawer units are the same and the third one is very slightly different although they will stand happily in a bank together and are all the same height. The measurements of the first two (which each have 3 drawers) are width: 25cm, depth: 30cm and height: 78cm. The third one has four drawers and measures w: 25, d: 33 and h: 78. All the handles are rusty but could easily be replaced with new ones if you wanted these to look smarter. The insides of all the drawers are in good clean condition. This has been stored in a clean plastic bag for quite a while but is in good condition. I may have a spare polyester pillow case for it (dark brown) if I can find it. Pillows like this are used for spending time or sleeping sitting up in bed or could be a bolster in the bed, eg during pregnancy. This was used for a medium-sized dog. It’s got a small burn hole in the top and the non-slip underside is now shedding little black “dots”. If this is not important to you it still has some life in it but otherwise could be taken for the washable filling that would be suitable for cushions or other craft projects (stuffed toys??). Suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, etc. We have seven packets of 6 tiles (= 42) boxed plus four extras. Be warned, they are very heavy and it may not be wise to put them all in one car at the same time. We will split but hopefully not too many times! Not sure what you call this type of board but it is dense and very heavy. See photo of the edge for its composition…. Dimensions 245cm x 122.5cm which will need a van, lorry or trailer for collection. Too big for an estate car. Might be suitable as flooring for a shed? The photos show water marks where it got a bit wet some months back in a leaking shed of ours but has since dried out. There are a few nail holes on one side. Otherwise in good condition. Not sure what you call this type of board but it is heavy. See photo of the edge for its composition…. Dimensions 79cm x 114cm so a van, lorry or trailer would be best for collection. Will probably fit in an estate car. Might be suitable as a piece of flooring or would make sturdy shelves if cut up. One of the photos shows the one uneven edge. This is really a large storage bag for bedding but the zip is broken. I can imagine it working as a car boot liner…. Dimensions are 90cm(35.5”) long, 50cm (19.5”) wide and 44cm (17.5”) deep. The second photo shows the side of it, to illustrate the depth. The third photo shows a hole in the transparent plastic panel at the front. See my other post for another smaller one in green.
