Free: Bookshelf unit with 3 shelves (Bussage GL6) Gifted See photos. Home-made and kindly freegled to us over a year ago. We’re now passing it on again. Natural pine with a few water marks and a couple of paint splashes and perhaps glue streaks but very solid and strong and has a lot of life left in it. Free: Loft hatch and surround (Bussage GL6) Gifted See photos. This is the type that you need a ladder for… push it up, turn it round and pass it back down through the aperture (or leave it in the loft) before accessing your loft space. It consists of a “frame” which measures 73cm x 65.5cm and the inside dimensions of that (where the hatch itself sits) are 61.5cm x 54cm. The frame trim is 2cm deep and the inside edge of that (which goes up into the lift) measures 9cm. It’s made of fibreglass so it shouldn’t need painting. Free: Berghaus walking boots ladies size 6 (Bussage GL6) Expired See photos. Still a bit of life in these. May suit someone with a one-off challenge to undertake in the drier months. The waterproof membrane has gone so they no longer keep your feet dry in really heavy rain although they will weather a shower. There is a split on one of the uppers where the rain will get in and the soles are showing some wear but they are still comfortable and functional. Free: Glass orchid jar or vase? (Bussage GL6) Gifted See pictures. This was a gift with a small orchid growing in the plastic cup. The orchid didn’t survive! It measures 35cm (14”) high, 12cm (5”) diameter. In addition to the “orchid soil” in this, I have a further quantity from another larger one that I didn’t manage to keep alive. Free: TV stand? Wide, low drawer unit with shelf (Bussage GL6) Gifted See pictures. This is an attractive and very well made, heavy piece of furniture and it will probably need two people to handle it and a large vehicle to collect it in. We think it’s a light oak wood effect chipboard. The sides of the drawer appear to be solid wood. It’s in excellent condition apart from two strips of fading on the long edges of the top surface (it was covered with a runner which didn’t quite reach the edges) - see photos 4 and 5. Dimensions: 90 cm (35+”) wide, 52cm (20+”) deep, 53cm (21”) high. The internal depth of the drawer is 33cm (13”). Collection from Bussage. Free: Waterproof leg cover for showering (Bussage GL6) Gifted This is used to protect a leg which has a plaster cast or other dressing on which you don’t want to get wet in the shower. It slips on like a stocking (but loosely) and the foot is textured so it’s non-slip. The top is a stretchy plastic which grips the thigh to make it completely watertight. The foot is huge so can be used by anyone! Only used half a dozen times and it’s in perfect clean condition in its original bag. Free: Small storage units (Bussage GL6) Gifted See photos. These have been used for storage in our garage and will need a clean up… Note that two of the drawer units are the same and the third one is very slightly different although they will stand happily in a bank together and are all the same height. The measurements of the first two (which each have 3 drawers) are width: 25cm, depth: 30cm and height: 78cm. The third one has four drawers and measures w: 25, d: 33 and h: 78. All the handles are rusty but could easily be replaced with new ones if you wanted these to look smarter. The insides of all the drawers are in good clean condition. Free: Leather cleaner and leather reviver (Bussage GL6) Gifted See photo. The reviver appears to be full and unopened. I think a very small amount has been used from the bottle of leather cleaner. Free: “V” shaped synthetic pillow with cream case (Bussage GL6) Gifted This has been stored in a clean plastic bag for quite a while but is in good condition. I may have a spare polyester pillow case for it (dark brown) if I can find it. Pillows like this are used for spending time or sleeping sitting up in bed or could be a bolster in the bed, eg during pregnancy.
