Lenovo T400 laptop (Chalford GL6)
I’m giving it away because it’s hardly been used for a few years. It’s a bit dated now but runs well with Linux. The battery is dead, a new one is around £30 but it runs very well via the AC adapter. The dead battery is still attached so it can be used for reference if ordering a replacement. It has 2GB RAM and a 240 GB SSD. As far as I’m aware everything except the battery is working perfectly. If you want to look up the detailed specs then it’s Lenovo T400, type 2765-8JG. It currently has Linux Mint installed, this includes LibreOffice which roughly equivalent to Microsoft Office. I also temporarily installed Windows 8.1 Pro and that appeared to be OK (it originally had Windows 7 but I no longer have the installation disk for that). It is not compatible with Windows 11 and may not work well with Windows 10. All my data has been completely removed. I would like this to go to a good home and will wait a few days before promising it so please say why you want it.

NOTE: these are not suitable for chairs or settees! They would be OK for a bed or something else that doesn’t move a lot. Each raiser has a detachable rubber base so that they can be stacked two high for extra height.

One has two tubes and the other has just one. They are 5ft long. Both worked when I tested them. They have been propped up in my garage for 15 years but are at least 40 years old.

Bissell compact carpet cleaner. It hasn’t been used for three years but powered up OK this morning. The only problem I can remember with it was that the brushes weren’t as good as I would have liked and I really needed something a bit larger, but it applied shampoo and sucked it up very effectively. It looks short in the photos because the handle is in the storage position.

Iiyama Pro-lite E430 monitor. It has been in use for many years but the computer finally died and it’s not compatible with the replacement. It looks dated but still works well and comes with a power supply and VGA cable. It has to go fairly soon because I don’t have space to store it.

For information about this type of seat see We were given this seat to use for our grandson when he was five and have never explored all the configurations for smaller children so there’s no guarantee everything works. However, it was in good condition when we received it and it appears that the previous owners looked after it so I would expect everything to be OK. I don’t know how old it is. It comes with the manual.

All work and if possible should be taken as one lot. The three socket block has discoloured with age. The grey four socket block has surge protection on all sockets. The two Belkin blocks have two ‘on’ sockets and six that can be enabled with a button in the middle of the block, those six should be remotely operated but the remotes have been lost.
