Was there someone here wanting an old CRT TV for a project? (Burley LS4) Gifted I recall a while ago somebody asking for a CRT TV for some kind of project. There is one here... If someone wants it, I'll need an answer on that soon, else it will go for scrap...

Wooden chair (Oak?) for upcycling or whatever. (Burley LS4) Expired I was on my way to the tip with them, when I noticed nice wood under the 'orrible black paint. I think it's oak, and too nice to bin, even though it's missing a seat.

Ryobi petrol strimmer, not working. (Burley LS4) Gifted This is a Ryobi split shaft system, which can take a variety of utensils: strimmer, hedgecutter, tiller, etc. I've only found a strimmer head and that's not all there. Last time I used it, it stopped and wouldn't re-start. It's been kicking around now for a few years waiting for me to have another look at it... Tell me why you want it: I'll give it to the person who makes the best case.

Very old "White Knight" tumble drier. Faulty. (Burley LS4) Expired It's the old sort, so dreadfully inefficient, or it would be if it worked properly. It goes around and it blows air, but it doesn't appear to get hot. I can't help thinking that it (or parts of it) might be useful for some kind of project, but not one that I have thought of yet... Needs to go soon, or I'll dispose of it.

Heating oil. (Burley LS4) Expired Probably a long shot, but people are upgrading their heating systems to efficient modern ones, so there's chance that someone out there is decommissioning an oil fired system, and it doesn't hurt to ask...

Educational toy thing. (Wiggly buzz wire) (Burley LS4) Gifted Is just a simple circuit making one of those wiggly wire games, supposedly to teach the basic principles of electricity and develop a steady hand. Works OK, could do with newer batteries. (2 off AA)

Whitworth bolts and spanners. (Burley LS4) Expired I've bought an old relic and it's missing a few nuts and bolts. It looks like my box of random nuts and bolts are mostly metric, with a few imperial, but I haven't had to mess with Whitworth for a very long time...
