Free: Mitsubishi audio cassette deck (Palo Alto) Mitsubishi DT-10: front-loading stereo cassette deck Released in 1978 with an original list price of $370. This is a large, rugged, heavy component for a 2-channel stereo system. Please note: I connected it to my 2-channel system and it did not play. I suspect that it needs new belts, but I did not open it up to spot the problem. Please also note: I follow Trash Nothing’s “Fair Chance” Policy (24-hour delay before responding to any requests). Overview and Specifications: Type: Single front-loading analog cassette player and recorder. Production Years: 1978 to 1980. Tape Compatibility: Normal and chrome tape types via manual selection. Performance: Powered by a DC servo motor featuring a large flywheel, offering low wow and flutter rated at 0.06% WRMS. Display & Controls: Analog needle VU meters for level reading; mechanical 3-digit tape counter, plus “residual time” meter; front-panel 1/4-inch microphone jacks. Design: Styled with a classic silver and black aesthetic, characteristic of the late-1970s.

Free: Small KLH center-channel speaker (Palo Alto) Gifted Single small black 8-Ohm KLH (brand) Model 42 center-channel speaker. This is an "orphan" left over from a multi-channel speaker system. It is black, made of wood, and magnetically shielded.

Free: Twin Bozak B-209B Speaker Drivers (Palo Alto) Gifted Bozak B-209B's are classic vintage 6-inch aluminum-cone midrange speaker components known for clear, low-distortion audio. They use alnico magnets and weigh a ton. Search "Rudy Bozak" to learn about this speaker driver and the Bozak B-302A speakers they came from.

Free: Small 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier (Palo Alto) Gifted Constructed from a kit in 2019. Works fine. The kit sells for $399 on DIY Audio dot com (search for "Amp Camp Amp"). Nelson Pass designed it -- he is a well-regarded audiophile circuit designer. Suitable for a small desktop or bookshelf system, but needs a pre-amp with a volume control. It is a "Class A" amplifier, so it runs hot -- put a fan under or beside it. Comes with a 19-volt power supply. Fair Chance Policy is observed.
