6 bottle wine cooler/fridge (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Russel Hobbes 6 bottle wine/drinks cooler. Working fine with optional light inside, adjustable temperature settings go down to 8° C. Runs a fan most of the time as not a full refrigerator, so bear that in mind (it's not very loud, but I had it in a box room). One slightly squint leg, but a bit of cardboard keeps it level! Dimensions: 51cm deep (plus it needs a few cm gap left behind it for the fan to vent), 26cm wide, 47cm high. Plug cable length 180cm approx.

Free:
Wicker chair (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
White-painted wicker chair. Old but solid. (Came from Trash Nothing - I don't need it any more so I'm passing it on.) Overall dimensions are 78cm high to top of back x 50cm wide x 60cm front to back. Seat height is about 40cm, and maybe 48cm wide. Light enough to carry alone - not sure if you'd be allowed to take it on the bus though!

Free:
Rainfall-type shower head (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Metal rainfall style shower head for a fixed overhead shower fitting. I assume it's a standard fitting - I just unscrewed it by hand to replace it. A ball joint at the top lets you set the head to your preferred angle. Was in use till yesterday and working fine. I've given it a clean and rinse. See photos for dimensions! Quite heavy - about 850g.

Free:
Veg and flower seeds (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
A variety of spare seed packets. They're all past their "sow by" years but they were kept in an unheated store in the dark in an airtight box so they're probably worth a try!

Free:
Very large kitbag (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Big red kitbag - about 90cm long by 40cm wide / deep. Maybe 150 litres capacity? Scuffed and marked from use but no holes or tears and all the stitching is solid. Afraid the clip-on shoulder strap is missing.

Free:
Nyger seed bird feeder (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Slightly battered nyger seed feeder (for goldfinches etc). Not squirrel-proof so I can't use it any more! Plastic tube, metal fittings. It's been taken apart, cleaned and reassembled.

Snorkel & mask from middle of Lidl (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Old (+10 years) snorkel and mask originally bought from the middle of Lidl - so not amazing quality! However it's only ever been used a few times a year, and has a wee bit more use in it. The mask still seals but you do have to retighten the straps quite often. Probably better fit for a medium to large sized adult head. It's been great for watching what the life in rock pools gets up to when the tide is in :) NB due to quality and age I'd recommend only using this like I did - for playing around in water shallow enough to stand up in. Standard "this is NOT a lifesaving device" warning applies!

Free:
Tall white Billy bookcase (Balerno EH14)
Gifted
Tall Ikea Billy Ikea shelves in white. Decent condition. They centre shelf is fixed, the other four are adjustable and just lift out. 200cm x 60cm wide x 28cm deep Too long for non-estate cars unless disassembled so they can go in at an angle - but any Ikea hex / allen key will do it in a few minutes. Collection from Balerno

Free:
Old Garmin running watch (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Garmin Forerunner 30 with charging cable. Bought in 2018, battery life not amazing now, and the screen has a few scratches, but it works. (You can still get compatible wrist straps on ebay etc - this one has a stretch fabric strap not the original rubber.)

Free:
Microwave oven - old but functional (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
A black George at Asda microwave. Works fine but missing tiny wee legs under front - see photos. You could replace easily with stick on ones, but I've always just folded up some thick cardboard and pushed it under the front. Now taped in place for transit!

Free:
Vax PickUp Pet vacuum cleaner (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Older model Vax cleaner - still works, and there's one washable filter with it (fitted) - it's easy to get more (the unbranded ones work fine). Comes with the manual and attachments. The hinge on the main compartment looks like it may fail at some point - see photos - but duct tape will probably keep it going a while after that!

Free:
Ornamental grass (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Expired
One ornamental grass plant I was given for the garden - I've lost the label so I'm afraid I'm not sure what variety. It's been neglected in a pot for two years and survived so will likely do well in pretty much any moist soil! Should probably have been cut back in early spring (but I forgot), and I imagine you can divide it to get more plants.

Bluetooth speaker *with issues (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Audioengine B2 Bluetooth mains-power speaker with audio jack. Solid, great sound and removable cover if you like to see your speakers vibrate. Important BUT! - there is an intermittent issue with the volume level: Sometimes it works fine! Sometimes it plays at a very, very low volume even with speaker and connected device volumes turned right up. This happens both on Bluetooth and via audio cable. I have no idea why! Sometimes unpairing and repairing the phone or laptop fixes it, sometimes switching it on and off fixes it - and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it just starts working properly again without me doing anything. If you're more patient than I am, or want to have a go at fixing it, this might be the speaker for you. Who knows - maybe moving it to a new flat will do the trick?! 31 x 14.5 x 11cm l-h-d but it needs a 23cm deep shelf (or new power connector with a right angle) due to the stuff on the back. Power cable and audio jack cable included.

Free:
Garmin Forerunner 30 running watch (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
2017 or 2018 model Garmin Forerunner 30 and cable. Not sure how good the battery life is but it charges fine and pairs to the Garmin app. Suitable for cycling, walking, etc as well as cardio. (Spare wrist straps available on ebay for about £6 if you don't like red!)

Free:
Crocosmia (montbretia) corms (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Some Crocosmia corms from a planter - slightly neglected so began to die back early but should be fine next year in the ground. Not sure what variety - red flowers, so perhaps lucifer.

Free:
Natal lily houseplant (Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH3)
Gifted
Rehoming this natal lily (Clivia miniata). It was rescued from sale shelf in Dobbies in January and is now flowering out of season on a very short stem instead of a long stalk. This is robably because it was kept in a warm room over winter (advice is "from November to March, 'rest' clivia by keeping in a cool place (at a maximum temperature of 10°C) and watering sparingly"). Maybe you can give it the conditions it needs! NB the Internet says it's poisonous to cats. Collect in Stockbridge (I'm keeping the outer pot, sorry!)
