Sofa-Bed (used, with Fire Label) (Bradford on Avon BA15)
We have a very good quality (but old) sofa, which is no longer used. We intended to have it upholstered but haven't done - and wishing to do up the house, it's in the way. So we should re-home it. The bed folds out very easily and the structure is very sturdy. There are a couple of small tears on the fabric (as it is old) but would be easily patched (e.g. with an iron-on patch). Please contact me if you would like this - either as a spare sofa, spare bed, or an upholstery project! It would be great in a spare room (study or whatever), in a student house, or for occasional guests.

Request:
Suitcase (with wheels) (Bradford on Avon BA15)
Expired
I seek a suitcase because I am visiting my son in Germany, and he wants various items which are heavy to carry. Does anyone have a spare suitcase they don't need anymore? It doesn't matter if it's battered. I plan to put about 15kg of food in there (Xmas puddings, marmite etc), so I seek one with wheels. Please contact me if you have something! I am travelling on 4th December. Happy to come and collect. Louise (Climate Friendly Bradford-on-Avon)

Request:
Lengths of rope for learning how to tie knots (Bradford on Avon BA15)
Expired
I run (with 2 assistants) a small volunteer mental health project, called the Greener Health Project. We are developing a group programme, involving activities outdoors - and we need to learn our knots, for tying up tarps etc. We seek shortish lengths of rope or cordage (or one long rope/cord - to cut into lengths) - for practising knots. I think thicknesses of 4mm - 8mm would be suitable for us, if you have anything (e.g. old climbing rope, which you can no longer use). At the Greener Health Project, we don't buy new, if we can avoid it. This is because buying new items contributes to global carbon emissions. Therefore if you have any lengths of rope/cord, which you no longer need, we would welcome them. with thanks, Louise, Bradford-on-Avon

Trolley (for outside?) - Free, in functional condition (Bradford on Avon BA15)
Gifted
We have a cute trolley to give away. It was a shopping trolley with a bag, but the fabric had perished so I removed it. The trolley is quite sturdy with 4 wheels and folds flat. It has a fairly lightweight frame, so not too heavy to move around. Wheeling it around, I believe it could be used as a 'garden' trolley (or for up/down the drive) for anyone unsteady on their feet, or anyone who experiences pain when lifting and carrying things. I have shown how with a large pot, you could also raise the base level so you don't have to bend. I also think for someone who still likes gardening, but struggles to walk, this might be useful as it offers some support due to the 4-wheeled base. Do please message me if you are interested.
