Canon MG5150 printer / scanner (Reepham NR10)
Chunky and fairly high-end inkjet printer / scanner / copier that's a bit battered cosmetically but in good working order as far as I can see. The display and buttons are all fine and a nozzle check pattern looks good. With a new set of five third-party ink cartridges (CMYK + high-capacity black). USB and Wi-Fi. Bottom paper tray as well as vertical paper holder. A potential snag is that there's no driver for Windows 11; plenty of people report success with the Windows 10 driver on Windows 11, but that was not my experience. Older versions of macOS are supported, but not macOS 26 Tahoe.

Ironing board (Reepham NR10)
Expired
The Fixery in Reepham is a "repair café" run by volunteers where people can get stuff mended for free. The lovely people who do our clothing repairs are looking for an ironing board, so we'd be very grateful if anyone has one they could spare.

TomTom satnav / Linux box and screen (Reepham NR10)
Gifted
This is an ancient TomTom Go 300 satnav, complete with padded bag. It works fine but the maps will be old and the screen resolution is poor, so you might not want to use it for its intended purpose. However, it's also a Linux device with a touchscreen and a decent-size speaker, and I believe it's hackable. You might be able to turn it into a little display unit for home automation or whatnot.

Nest box camera kit (Reepham NR10)
Gifted
This is an unused kit for a nest box camera (or you could use it for hedgehogs or other wildlife). I think it originally came with the nest box itself; that's missing, but everything else is there including the camera and power supply, mounting hardware and instructions. The camera has infra-red LEDs so it should work in complete darkness over short distances. This is not a fancy modern camera, so it needs a cable (included) to connect it to a TV or other video device. There's no computer connection, no Wi-Fi, and no recording except to a separate device. The TV will need either an old-style composite video RCA socket (not component video, which is more common these days) or an RCA-to-SCART adapter. I'm not even certain the camera works, but it should be fine.

Old battery packs and laptop batteries (Reepham NR10)
Expired
I'm looking for used 18650 Li-ion batteries to use at The Fixery, a repair café in Reepham, to give a new lease of life to old cordless tools and vacuum cleaners. New cells are typically too expensive for this purpose, but old battery packs often have enough life left to be worth re-using. They need to be cylindrical cells like these, not the pouch-style batteries that slim laptops often use.

12V DC motor (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Cheap and cheerful 12V DC motor taken from a massage chair. 2900 rpm no-load speed according to the label. I've no idea of the power rating but it's a chunky thing so I'm guessing at least a few tens of watts.

Soldering iron elements (Hakko type, 24V) (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Two 24V 50W soldering iron elements that might fit Hakko 900 series irons and clones. I bought them in the hope they'd fit the Yihua K917C iron on my 995D soldering station (they don't). The two seem to be pretty much identical. The "Hakko" one claims to be made in Japan. I assume it's a Chinese fake, but it should still work.

Miniature woodworking lathes (Reepham NR10)
Gifted
Two PLAYMAT mini woodworking lathes, scruffy but working. About 150mm centres. The manufacturer says you can make wooden pens and dolls’ house furniture with them. These were sold as educational toys, and the current version (see ) is described as being suitable for children as young as 5. Make your own judgments about that, especially since the one on the left has a chuck with catchy bits. Needs a 6V DC power supply that can deliver at least a couple of amps. No tools apart from the one shown. Left-hand unit needs fastening down, and has a toothed belt that is intact but probably needs replacing. And obviously you’ll need eye protection and supervision by a competent person.

Technicolor DGA0122NLK wireless router (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Technicolor DGA0122NLK router with built-in modem for VDSL/ADSL and 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi. I have a couple of these; one is used but working as far as I know, and the other is brand new. I'm not familiar with this device but it seems to have all the features you'd expect for a basic ISP-provided router. It came from a commercial setting so I don't imagine it's tied to a single provider.

Energy saving plug works with your TV remote (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Lime ES1016 energy saving plug in original box with instructions. This is a clever gadget that might be useful if you have an older TV, DVD player or sound system that uses a noticeable amount of power on standby. It has an infrared receiver that detects when you’ve switched off the TV, and then cuts the power to everything that’s plugged in to it. It would be especially handy if you can’t reach the switch on the wall socket. The Lime plug uses about 0.6W itself, so it’s no good if you have a modern TV that uses a similar amount of power on standby, or if you just switch everything off at the wall. But if your equipment is older, or you have a lot of gadgets connected to the TV, they may use a significant amount of electricity. If anything feels slightly warm when it’s not in use, that’s a clue. This unit is in its original packaging and seems to be unused. I haven’t tested it, and I think it may be quite a few years old, but have no reason to think it doesn’t work. Note that this isn’t the Lime ES1017 model that was subject to a product recall.

Expired
Job lot of small photo frames. The largest measure roughly 20 cm. The two narrow brass ones are old, and really quite nice. Top right is leather, again old. The miniature is modern. All have glass, most have backs but not necessarily supports to make them free-standing.

Webbing slings (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Two polyester slings: 3m and 2m. Chinese manufacturers' labels: one has a nominal 1 tonne rating and the other seems to be unrated. Bought from Amazon a couple of years ago, basically unused, and carefully stored. Use your own judgment, understand proper slinging procedures, and perhaps keep them for small loads or applications where breakage will not injure anyone.

Airbed inflator for spares or repair (Reepham NR10)
Expired
Mini air pump for air mattresses etc. Originally battery-powered, but the batteries have failed and been removed. The motor and fan still work fine and it seems a pity to throw it away. Needs 5 NiCd/NiMh cells in the "sub-C" size (same diameter as a C cell but shorter), with solder tags or spot-welded.

Four USB portable hard disk drives ideal for backups, complete with cases. For Windows or Mac. No guarantees, but all are working fine at the moment and have survived a three-pass erase. Mono laser printer / document scanner (Reepham NR10)
Gifted
Brother DCP-7045N black-and-white laser printer with sheet-fed document scanner and flatbed scanner. Ethernet and USB connections. No Wi-Fi. Works happily with the latest version of macOS and should be fine with Windows. This is an old machine and it's a bit of a beast, but it's in good condition and full working order. The toner cartridge is half full, so should be good for 1000 pages at least, and it had a new drum not long ago. The print is not as dark as it might be, but it's perfectly useable. New toner is quite inexpensive compared to an inkjet printer. The flatbed scanner is nothing wonderful but it's OK. The sheet-fed scanner is awesome for digitising piles of documents.
