Large wheelie bin wormery (Shirley CR0)
I repurposed a spare wheelie bin a few years ago for us as a wormery. It has worked well for making compost and has a huge capacity, but some design flaws - the tap is very easily blocked (so I added extra holes for drainage out the sides) and it's difficult to extract the compost through that small porthole. Still, as photos show, it works well! And is very fox and rat-proof. The porthole window screws in and out. I'll be emptying it this week. Does anyone want to try my DIY solution? 6ft x 6ft metal greenhouse (Shirley CR0)

Aluminium frame greenhouse with a mixture of perspex and horticultural glass panes, with glass mostly in the lower half to weigh it down. As you can see from the photos, a few panes are missing in the roof. They are readily available and quite cheap. All panes would benefit from a good clean. The frame is sturdy, the roof window opens ok but the main door is quite difficult to open and close - it doesn't roll smoothly. We are about to order a new one. This will be made available around the time the new one is delivered, so please expect to wait a few weeks, I estimate from the second half of March onwards. I'd appreciate help dismantling it and carrying through the house (and it will help you to see the process). Contents are not included, but if I find spare bolts or glass clips you can have those. We are near Millers Pond in Shirley.

Working and in nice condition but we find the heat control isn't very good. One side gets too warm, the other not warm enough. Fits a double bed with elasticated curtain. Two plugs for dual control. Only 2-3 years old, used for sawdust extraction. It was very powerful and effective. The motor started making a fluttering sound then lost power. After that it no longer turns on. Physically good condition. Comes with whatever attachments I can find. Does anyone want to try resurrecting it?
