Extending Oak Dining Table (Duddingston EH15)

This table has had a life. We found it on a free site 11 years or so go. Unextended, the wood has a nice grain and polishes up reasonably, despite a fair amount of wear and tear marks. The legs also have some marks and scuffs. The original mouldings have been removed from the sides, as the table had to be trimmed. The edges were then stained to blend with the surface. The table has two extensions, which are darker, have a number of marks and cuts (see photo). There is a winder to wind out the table and insert one or both extension leaves. The winding has to be done very carefully for the table to be secure. Nonetheless we have had many happy times using the fully extended table. The table is on wheels. NB The chairs are not available. Maybe a good restoration Project? Dimensions: Unextended 126 x 86 cms Two extension leaves 43 cms each Extend to 169 and 212cms. 77 cms high. Pick up only. Will need 2 people. The table is now in our garage and a vehicle can be parked directly in front of the garage. The extensions are separate. It’s not possible to remove the legs. When we originally collected it, we put it upside down on our estate roof rack

Coping Stones (Duddingston EH15)

We’re looking for 7 metres of traditional apex (twice weathered) coping stones to put on top of a single skin party wall that has exposed bricks on one side and has been harled on the other. Width 140-170mm. Ideally we’d like to reuse some old stones grey/buff with a weathered texture, but we’d consider new ones too. Happy to collect.

Geraniums and Vinca for groundcover (Duddingston EH15)

These geraniums and vinca have been cleared from a patch in our rear garden. They’re pretty resilient plants and will be great for anyone needing ground cover, but they’re not potted up and need to be planted quickly or at least kept in some water. I’ll put them in our drive outside our house so anyone interested can just help themselves. Please bring bags to collect them as like to keep the tubs they’re in !
