Free: Wine Rack components (Emerald Hills, near cross.) We just disassembled a wine rack which was built into a closet by a former tenant. The pieces appear to be fir, and they're unfinished. The rack had been nailed together, and there are some bits missing at the ends of some pieces - but if you're handy and want to build a wine rack, these could serve as a starting point.

Free: Thrifty Ice Cream Scoop (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted If you're old enough (i.e. nearly 80) you'll remember the ice cream at Thrifty Drug Store, selling for 5 cents a scoop, and dispensed with a strange cylindrical scoop. Rite-Aid still brands their ice cream "Thrifty" and still uses the bizarre scoop - and I was gifted one of these scoops as a nostalgia gift. It seems very well made from stainless steel, but I'll never use it and it will simply gather dust... so perhaps it's something to stir a memory, or perhaps intrigue your kids.

Free: Cookware (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted We're remodeling our kitchen, and a lot of stuff has come to light after hiding in the back of cabinets for years. This is two nice small (~6") new (I think) Calphalon "Tapas" pans, anodized aluminum. The finish is a bit scuffed from storage. The other is an old cast iron frying pan, in need of restoration (sanding and re-seasoning). It has no brand name on it, but we probably inherited it, so it's probably over 75 years old.

Free: Floor protection paper (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Heavy duty (20 mil) paper for protecting you floor while doing any kind of work. I just remodeled my kitchen and have a quarter roll (25' X 3') unused. When done, can be recycled with your routine cardboard recycling. Very durable - only failed where we moved a refrigerator (duh!)

Free: Solid Oak cabinet doors (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Just removed from our kitchen. Red oak with clear finish, all doors are a full 3/4" thick, nice quality Oak - could be used to make cutting boards, or other projects. Hinges attached if you want them. Approx. 20 pcs of various sizes. This is a reposting... if nobody wants them, they go to the dump.

Request: Swivel stool (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Withdrawn I'm looking for a swivel stool in (almost) any condition to convert to a rotating painting stand for spray painting kitchen cabinet doors. A high stool (like a bar stool) would be best. The base need not have wheels -just the seat needs to swivel

Free: Very small mini fridge (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Very small micro-mini fridge - can run off 110v AC or 12V DC. Can both cool and heat items, but is just barely the size of a six-pack of beer. These are sold to be used for medications, skin care products, or simply to keep items cold or hot. I bought it to keep sourdough starter at a uniform low temperature, but the temperature wasn't stable enough for that purpose. Description here:

Free: Polk RT16 tower speakers (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Pair of Polk tower speakers in very nice condition. Vinyl is lifting slightly on top of one, should be easy to re-glue. Otherwise like new. Will require at least one strong person to carry to your car.

Free: photo scanner (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Epson V200 photo scanner. Nice quality, can scan photos and documents. With power supply. Drivers and software can be downloaded from Epson's website.

Free: Small Windows Tablet (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Ematic brand 8" Windows tablet (running windows 8). Quad core processor. This is a fairly cheap Windows tablet - I bought it for a specific control application and it didn't work terribly well for that. It has wifi, bluetooth, etc and will run most Windows applications. It seems to hold a charge fairly well - but don't expect much. I'm not really sure what it's good for, but if you have a particular application for which this will work... it's yours. Might be good as a standalone weather display, or a photo album display unit - or something. In its original box.

Free: Washer and drier (Portola Valley) Gifted Speed Queen "Commercial Heavy Duty" Washer and electric drier. These were left by a recent tenant who couldn't move them, but says they're very good commercial machines which run well (they were in use until a few weeks ago). Currently located in Portola Valley, and you'll need to bring a truck and be able to move the machines yourself.

Free: Roll of Shrink Wrap (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted approx. 15" wide, large roll of shrink wrap, useful for wrapping items for shipping, moving, or for wrapping suitcases for airline travel. This is the gray translucent variety.

Request: Computer Monitor, Keyboard (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Received I'm setting up a little project using a "Raspberry Pi" micro computer, and it would be easier with a dedicated monitor and keyboard. The monitor will need to have an HDMI port. If you've got either one hiding somewhere I'd love to take it off your hands.

Free: Power Paint Roller (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Sears Craftsman power "Continuous Flow" paint roller. Appears to be nearly new, with all the necessary parts for operation, but I haven't tested it.

Free: Microwave Oven (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Medium size Daewoo microwave, stainless exterior. Somewhat scratched top, but otherwise in very nice condition

Free: Ryobi 18v saw (Emerald Hills, near cross.) Gifted Offered to three people, none of whom ever responded again! - so, it's available. PLEASE do not request this item if you don't intend to come over and pick it up! Older 6 1/2" circular saw, uses the same batteries as the newer 18v Ryobi tools. Comes with a blade, but no batteries or charger. If you have any 18V Ryobi tools this will work fine with the same battery system. It's a bit smaller than the newer Ryobi saws, but also lighter, so it's quite handy to use.
