Free: IKEA Hemnes wardrobe (BS16) Withdrawn IKEA Hemnes wardrobe carcass. They don’t make this style any longer. There is no top for it or doors, but it works in an open wardrobe format. Because it doesn’t have a top, it will need bracing along the back. Appreciate this isn’t ideal! But thought there might be someone who would want to make this work. I can be around most days. Will be dismantling today ready for collection at the weekend. Thanks.

Request: Coffee machine (BS16) I help run a local cricket club, which is not for profit. We would like to experiment with offering proper coffees on the bar, so I’m hoping if someone has an unused but working pod coffee machine, e.g. nespresso or Tassimo, we could use it to see if people want this service before we invest.

Free: Dutalier rocking chair & stool (BS16) Needs repair. Canadian brand Dutalier rocking chair and rocking footstool. My children have strained it by rocking too hard and unfortunately one of the round metal cogs at the front of the chair has come out of its socket in the wood. (Last photo.) This means it still rocks but gives a little clunk sensation when you go too far forward. I think someone handy could fix this but it’s beyond our capabilities. The stool is in fine condition. Additionally worth mentioning the cream cushions are showing signs of use, and are not recommended for dry cleaning (Timpsons told me it would invalidate their fire safety, so wouldn’t wash them.)

Free: George Foreman Grill (BS16) Gifted George Foreman Grill - needs new fuse. We have had this for a few years and only used infrequently. The Teflon is in excellent condition. After storing for some time I came to use it today and it wouldn’t come on with the plug in the wall. So I think it needs a new fuse - sadly not in my skill set!

Free: Four plastic garden decorations (BS16) Gifted Used to be solar lights but have stopped working. These four decorations were left by previous owner and not to my taste but I thought someone might like them for garden decor. Will offer them here before disposing of.

Free: Newborn reusable nappy set (BS16) Gifted Bambino Miosoft reusable nappy set for newborn babies. For use from 5kgs. There are six nappy covers and 13 washable nappy inserts. This set was hardly used by us.

Free: Totsbots reusable nappies (BS16) Gifted Totsbots reusable nappies. I have five all-in-ones with various prints, and three of the bamboozle night nappies, with the clip in boosters, too. The elastics have gone in these, but the hook and loop (Velcro), PUL and the fibres are still good, so I am hoping these can help someone who knows their way around a sewing machine, or can enlist someone to help replace the elastics. They have been gently used, only washed with non-bio powder, so should not need “stripping”.

Request: King size bed slat (BS16) Expired We broke one of our bed slats while moving. I’ve tried to buy a full length king size slat in various stores but they don’t sell them in the right size. Hoping someone might be getting rid of a king size bed that I could repurpose one from.

Free: Large garden store/bin tidy (BS16 1SE) Gifted Large plastic bin tidy/garden store. The plastic hinge cases for the lid have snapped a little (see last photo) which is making it a bit unwieldy for me to lift. It is still usable though for someone a bit stronger. It all slots into place and is in a partially dismantled condition for easy transport.

Free: 10 cardboard boxes (BS16) Gifted Various sizes of moving boxes. Several are Mindful Chef meal delivery boxes which are sturdy and come with solid inners and lids, which are amazing for moving fragile items. Also a couple of wine delivery boxes which again are great for glassware. I might have more than ten... I’m still unpacking! They will mostly be collapsed for ease of transport. Please message with a date and time you can collect.

Free: IKEA coat rack (Downend BS36) Gifted IKEA coat rack. Unscrews into individual pieces for easy transportation. Solid birch wood. The middle section requires some wood glue to keep it straight as the screw threads have worn. Can be collected from the end of the drive near The Trident pub or Hambrook (Whiteshill common)

I’m looking for glass containers to upcycle into Fairy Gardens, which will be sold at a Christmas Fayre to raise money for my local primary school PTA. The containers need to be bigger than food jars, and ideally a pleasing shape, please. Lids not essential but preferred. I can collect. Free: Single “house” bed (Welwyn Garden City (AL7)) Gifted Single house bed, great as a bed or as a play area / reading corner. Wooden frame has been dismantled, has all screws. On two of the screw points the wood has split but could easily be fixed with wood glue and a clamp.

Free: Unused carpet offcuts (Welwyn Garden City (AL7)) Expired One full length, two smaller cuts, leftover from carpet fitting. It’s thick, textured and natural British wool fibre from Tapi Carpets. Seems a shame to take it to the dump. Collection needs to be before Sunday.
