Free: Christmas Tree Lights (Abraham Heights LA1) I offered these last December but the person who wanted them didn’t collect and it was too close to Christmas to repost. It’s possible that the replacement bulb, that’s needed for them to work, can be bought from Range, where Homebase used to be. This is what I wrote then - Homebase, 80 warm white lights, for up to 5 ft Christmas tree. In original box with instructions. 1 bulb has failed & I couldn’t find replacement in store before they closed. But I’ve looked on line & replacements can be bought for a couple of £. Slightly different ‘end’ to most tree light bulbs.

Free: Toaster (Abraham Heights LA1) Gifted Bosh toaster. Used but clean and in working order. Simple use - pop bread in one or both sides, push lever down, set dial to desired browning level, it pops up when toasted. Can press red button to pop it up at any time. Will toast from frozen and wider items eg crumpets. Numbers on dial slightly fading, but doesn’t affect use.

Request: 8 paving slabs (Abraham Heights LA1) Expired The Friends of the Storey Garden (storeygardens.org) and Closing Loops (/) are setting up a community compost demonstration site. We are building a bay to store the woodchip that is needed for the Ridan composter (as well as food waste from Printroom cafe & others). The bay, 135 x135 cm, needs a solid base to keep the woodchip dry. Unwanted paving slabs could be the ideal base if anyone has them please. We think about 8 are needed. We can arrange collection. Thank you.

Large, clear, easy to use buttons. Simple to operate. Large, clear screen. Light weight. Can store 100 numbers in Phonebook - can set up for most important/frequently used numbers. Loud sound. FM radio, torch, calendar with reminder, wake up alarm, vibrating ringer. Needs a SIM card.

Free: PC Transcription Kit (Abraham Heights LA1) Gifted Olympus AS-2300 PC Transcription Kit. Includes: Foot switch RS27 or RS28, Stereo Headset E102 (unused), DSS Player, Transcription Software. Used when I transcribed for a living. Still usable, though I guess most people talk to their computers and it transcribes through speech recognition.

Free: Steamer pan set (Abraham Heights LA1) Gifted 3-tier steamer. Base diameter 20cm, height of base pan 12cm, overall height of 3 stacked pans 27cm (not including lid handle). Glass lid. Silicone handles. Used but good condition. Only passing on because have changed to induction hob; this works on all other hob types but not induction.

Request: Wheelbarrow (Abraham Heights LA1) Expired The Friends of the Storey Gardens, the volunteers who maintain the gardens working in them most days, are in need of a wheelbarrow. Ours has rusted away. We have a useable wheelbarrow wheel, so if you’ve an old barrow but the wheel needs replacing we could probably still use it. I could collect it. Thank you.

Request: Square topped plant pots (Abraham Heights LA1) Received The Storey Garden, Lancaster is maintained by volunteers and relies on donations. We are in need of square plant pots approx100mm/4in square at the top and 127mm/7in high. Larger square pots and tall pots would also be very welcome. Sorry but round plant pots aren’t of use to us.
