Request: Static caravan furniture/dog bits (Sheringham NR26) My little dog rescue has a static caravan being delivered next week, where two more dogs from the stray pound will be looked after by volunteer fosterers. We don’t use kennels because you can’t tell how a dog will behave in a home then. So we need a few basic bits of furniture, such as single bed frame and mattress, and a double too, please. Sofa and chair, or sofabed would be amazing… perfect for snuggling with the dogs 🐾❤️ maybe some bits for the kitchen, too? A couple of dog beds and bedding, other equipment, a raised feeder like this would be fantastic, even dog food, treats, toys… anything you think might be useful, really! We can collect in the next few days, whenever convenient for you, within an hour of Sheringham. Please contact me here if you can help, or I’m happy to talk if you send me your number, I’m not allowed to put mine on here. Absolutely anything would be very much appreciated. Request: Any kind of night light (Sheringham NR26) Expired I’m looking for any kind of fairly dim/safe to leave on overnight light please, so that our dogs have a bit of light. Our greyhound was spectacularly unimpressed with the jets flying around so late on Monday night. They made their schedule public but sadly Ace doesn’t read and didn’t understand. He’s not wild about them in the daytime but these very late shenanigans made him go a little do-lally. And the lounge door paid the price. Thankfully he was mostly ok. So we’re now in the process of working on desensitising him, leaving a little light and the radio on etc, but we only have bright lamps, which will not be useful for him sleeping. Doesn’t matter what it looks like, condition etc. We’re coming to Norwich and east coast right down nearly to Lowestoft next week, so can collect from all over. Thanks for reading my War and Peace! Free: T-Cut metallic colour restorer (Sheringham NR26) Expired 375ml bottle, pretty much full. I go to North Walsham and Norwich hospital for appointments quite regularly, so might be able to drop off/meet you somewhere.

Free: Bluetooth mouse (Sheringham NR26) Expired Mouse for basically anything, laptop, desktop, whatever. It was bought from Amazon, works fine hubby just didn’t like it :-D and left it too late to return!

Request: Old rug/carpet pieces (Sheringham NR26) Expired Requesting old rug or carpet pieces, please. My beloved delicate 32kg house-horse wuss of a greyhound has decided it is animal cruelty to make him walk on the little pebbles between where I park my dog van and our steps, and I have just hours before he reports me to Dogline. So colour/condition/size doesn’t matter. I don’t think he’s THAT fussy, as long as I can cover the nasty pointy stones with something suitable for his Lordship’s tootsies... honestly greyhounds are such ridiculous babies :-) We’re going into Norwich on Thursday, so collection vaguely along the route from Sheringham won’t be a special journey. Hopefully he’ll give me that long to comply... Thank you for your help in my quest to stay out of the stocks. Jane

Free: 2 boxes of air-filled packing bags (Sheringham NR26) Gifted I’m sure they have a more technical name, but I don’t know it! These came in some deliveries we had and I really don’t want to pop them all and create a ton of single use plastic, so would be very happy if someone moving house or anything else needs them. Can be left outside if we know when you’re coming to collect. Jane

Request: Tiny piece carpet/underlay/similar (Sheringham NR26) Received Just need a very small amount of some carpet or underlay please, I need to put something on this dog ramp as my old boy is struggling to get a grip on the plastic surface. Preferably close to Sheringham, as it’s such a little thing needed. The ramp is 13” wide, two of the steps are 15” long and one is 10” long. If I stick it on in pieces, I’ll still be able to fold the ramp up. Thanks for reading. Jane (and Welly)

Request: 15”/16” square cushion covers (Sheringham NR26) Expired Hi there It doesn’t matter what condition these are in, they could even be those thin cotton inner cushion covers. I’ve been kindly donated some cushion inners, and was going to (attempt to) sew them together to make something soft to go under a duvet for our huge new rescue hound but they’ve got those holey polypropylene covers, which I didn’t think about. If I put these inners inside something though, it will be much easier I think. Greyhounds deserve a big soft pile of loveliness to lie on after the life they’ve had, if you’re wondering why I’m piling up layers of bedding. He also quite likes a ‘bumper’ of cushions to keep him away from awful things like cold, hard walls. He’s already got large bare areas on his thighs and many old scars on his legs from his old kennel conditions, so I want to keep him well away from the floor now (yes he has the sofa too, but still requires a choice of 17 other beds in every room he may wish to visit), which requires many duvets, throws, cushions you name it. Imagine the Princess and the Pea, but with a Shetland pony-sized dog on top. That’s what Ace wants, so any help gratefully accepted! Also, I travel to North Walsham every fortnight so can collect from that area and along the route from Sheringham too. Thanks for reading Jane

Free: Glossy A4 photo inkjet paper (Sheringham NR26) Gifted Around 80% of a pack left, untouched condition. Gives pretty good results (unless you have a laser printer, as we now do!). In Sheringham, but we go to North Walsham fortnightly so could possibly drop off or meet you somewhere en route.

Request: Memory foam mattress / big pieces (Sheringham NR26) Expired Does anyone have anything like any memory foam pieces or unwanted mattresses, maybe bit too messy for humans please? We’ve got a foster greyhound with us and we've broken up a few mattresses in the past for big dog beds. Put in a zipped cover they’re perfect, as normal dog beds are too small. Otherwise used duvets/anything else that would be suitable for a large dog's bed would be much appreciated. Request: Duvets / big cushions / bed throws (Sheringham NR26) Expired Basically anything padded, because our new rescue greyhound is BIG, way too big for our current dog beds, and he needs lots of layers of bedding... he also won't care about colour :-) We've got a large washing machine so it doesn't matter if they've got musty, we'll be able to wash them. Request: Baby gate in any condition (Sheringham NR26) Expired Our new rescue greyhound hasn't lived in a house before, just kennels, so we're trying to keep him from getting everywhere he wants to go! Free: Woven basket (Sheringham NR26) Gifted Basket woven with natural material rather than plastic. Good condition, just a few bits slightly loose under the bottom where the strands end. 50cm long x 35cm wide x 12cm deep (approx).
