Free: CARE 2000 Air Purifier (Purcellville, VA 20132) Gifted Hospital-grade air purifier. (Includes ultraviolet light to kill bacteria.) Works fine, but replacement filters are no longer commercially made. I assume that they could be fashioned from other replacement filters. Three speeds. Fairly large (very roughly about 2.5 feet tall); on wheels.

Free: Artificial Christmas Tree (Purcellville, VA 20132) Expired 4.5 ft., "Berry Mountain Tree with Never Out Lighting." Martha Stewart Everyday. Approximately 42 in. diameter. Very roughly a decade old but in good shape. Probably more lights than when purchased. (My wife wanted to get rid of one of our two trees, and this one had been set up, so ... .)

Free: Electric lawn mower (won't start) (Purcellville, VA 20132) Expired Sun Joe (corded) electric mower. 12"(?) blade--best for smaller yards. Was working fine until it wouldn't start a few weeks ago. Problem did not appear to be outlet or extension cord, but COULD be something minor; we decided to get a battery-powered mower rather than have this one checked out. Free: Japanese Textbook (Beginner) (Purcellville, VA 20132) Expired Essential Japanese: An Introduction to the Standard Colloquial Language, Samuel E. Martin (Yale), 3rd revised ed. From mid-1960s, but it could be useful for beginner who is able to listen to and learn accurate pronunciation elsewhere (although the intro provides very detailed explanations of pronunciation, contrasts with similar English sounds, etc.). Contains lots of common expressions (vs. individual words) and extensive explanations. Because this is intended to aid conversation, the book does not include any instruction in Japanese writing (although I added the hiragana/Japanese lettering for many of the expressions by hand when I was using this decades ago). I have two other Japanese-learner textbooks and other materials (e.g., textbooks used by Japanese middle school students) that I'd be willing to describe and offer if there's interest.

Free: Men's Bicycle (Purcellville, VA 20132) Gifted Multi-gear men's bicycle--I rescued it and haven't ridden it but seems to just need a little attention (air in tires, tape/covers for handles, etc.) Brakes work. Front pouch has air pressure gauge and a few parts.
