Full working order before it was upgraded, but pipework will need resealing as the top overflow showing some movement after it was taken. You'll need new matting filter, but I can leave some brushes for the first chamber. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- If you are expecting a reply PLEASE PLEASE remember to check your SPAM folder, you'd be amazed how many messages we find/or hear of that are missed because they've got sent to spam by over zealous email filters, Yahoo being by far the worst. Direct Power SDS Hammer/Drill (DA5)
Expired
I'd guess at at least 15 years old and does work but there's two issues... 1) The power button is inconsistent and doesn't always power on. 2) Without a load on the chisel, the drive still wants to spin the bit... I'd guess either of the two switches that select the hammer/drill/hammer/drill only options, are broken. Once hammering, it tends to hold its position. I'd guess it's about 4kg so quite a heavy unit... and historically a very useful tool... makes very easy work of e.g. drilling into concrete lintels for curtain rails, whereas the 'b&d' hand drill would struggle. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers. Low Energy Bayonet Light Bulbs (DA5)
Expired
2 sets of four, 1 set of five Most, as seen, unused. Assuming there's a fair amount of interest, I'm splitting into three sets. Hopefully can help people reduce their energy bills being 11w versus 60w normal energy usage. As I'm intending to split, to avoid undue waste in time & fuel for collection, I'll be favouring interested parties that are closest to our DA5 address. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers. Titan Petrol Chainsaw TTN632CHN (DA5)
Gifted
I'd guess about 8 years old. it needs someone with mechanical expertise to take it apart and check it out as when last used (earlier this year) it looked as if the 'clutch was slipping'... any major pressure on the chain and the chain stopped running. I didn't hear any grinding or crunching so don't believe the drive cog has lost teeth, but it doesn't work as it stands and, to my mind, anyone wanting it must not use it until the chain snagging is understood and been sorted. Given the nature of the machine and the damage it can inflict, any person taking this chainsaw does so with full knowledge that it is not working as it should do, and that they assume full responsibility for this machine, usage or and injury to any person, after its been taken. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers. 9" Electric 240v Grinder (DA5)

Well used and in working order when last used... last year. It's a damned heavy unit and I'm no longer happy using it... I prefer a 125mm disc unit as I feel more in control. So no point it just sitting in the garage! -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers. I can't recall what was wrong with the motor but after 2 years sitting in the garage, I've finally acknowledged I'm evidently not going to get it sorted. Concrete / Thermalite / Breeze Blocks (DA5)
Expired
Does anyone have some ‘concrete blocks’ that they would like to be rid of please? I'm looking to alter my pond and hopeful that people may have ‘breeze blocks’ lurking that they want gone. In preference solid 100mm or 140mm blocks, and as they will be going below ground ‘dense blocks’ would be better, but thermalite blocks would also suit. No trouble collecting. Thank you for considering. -- MODERATORS MESSAGE -- Please remember to check your account for 'Chat' messages from other members and/or site volunteers.
