Free: 1904 garage door (Stevens) Gifted Character-ful 33x96-inch solid wood (probably fir) door, the last surviving member of a set of four accordion-opening doors from the alley side of our garage. Painted in white (exterior) and dark green (interior), with original chain pull latch and halves of hinges. I had intended to coat it with lead-paint sealer and turn it into a workshop table but lost impetus. Very heavy. Seattle Second Use couldn't come pick it up (not enough items) so I'm offering it to someone in the community with a large enough vehicle.

Free: IKEA Galant corner desk (Stevens) Gifted IKEA left-side corner desk in birch veneer with grey, steel, adjustable-height T legs and sturdy steel underframe. Great for crafting, cutting fabric, soldering, spreading out books and papers, working at your laptop, and so on. All original parts (8 screws and hex wrench— underframe and legs already assembled) and original instructions for easy transport and assembly (in the photo, the underframe is detached from the desktop). The large desk surface is in excellent condition, with no scratches penetrating the veneer. There are 3 small pin holes on one corner (shown) and 3 minor scuffs on two legs (shown). Dimensions: 47 inches wide at the widest point (31.5 inches wide at cutout area) by just over 63 inches long, and legs currently 24 inches tall (adjustable height).

Free: three bicycle moving boxes (Madrona / Leschi) Gifted Three sturdy cardboard boxes for when you want to disassemble a bicycle for a long move. Each cost $20 new and has been used once. There are two smaller boxes (dimensions: 12 x 30 x 48 inches) and one large (dimensions: 12.75 x 36 x 53 inches). Each comes with a couple of flexible styrofoam pads for handlebars. You'll need a vehicle with large enough storage to pick these up.

Free: crutches for 5' 2" to 5' 10" adult (Madrona) Gifted Very lightly used BodyMed-brand aluminum crutches. Includes padded underarm cushions, hand grips, and non-skid rubber tips. Maximum weight capacity: 300 pounds. Adjustable in 1-inch increments. "To adjust, simply press the push-button height adjustment to set your desired height." Can help when recuperating from ankle sprains or broken bones. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.

Free: Guardian walker (Madrona) Gifted Lightweight, sturdy aluminum walker with wheels in front. Very lightly used. Good for recuperating from broken leg bones or getting around with arthritis or what-have-you. Collapses down (push the red dots on the top) for tucking into a closet for storage. From a pet-free smoke-free home.

Free: black decorative shelf (Madrona) Gifted Black shelf with inset square areas. I think it's made of MDF. There's a phone holder or similar stuck to the top; I hung bags on it. Dimensions in inches: 25.75 wide x 40.25 tall x 5.75 deep. (Green book [not included] is 7.75 inches tall, shown for scale and not included.) Shelf could be used to divide areas of a room. Very lightly used in a non-smoking, no-pets household. Easy porch pickup available.

Free: queen mattress pad with storage bag (Palo Alto near Hoover Park) Expired Lightly used, about 3-inch-thick, queen-size foam mattress topper, similar to one in photo. Originally from IKEA. Fairly clean (2 small food stains). Use on a queen mattress to add cushioning and protect the surface, or use on its own as a guest mattress for last-minute sleepovers. Comes with fabric ties and cinching fabric bag to roll and store it upright in the back of a closet till needed.
