Free: Critical Social Policy journal full run 1981 to 2009 (Chorlton M21) Gifted Of historical interest, covering the Thatcher to Brown period of major changes in UK social policy. This journal began as a self publishing project, several of the editors from Manchester University. Full set from the very first issue to May 2009. 2 boxes full. Includes an early article by me! Sage who now publish it charge £25 per digitised article, even for the early years when they had nothing to do with it!

Free: Full 10-volume set of 1920s Children's Encyclopaedia (Chorlton M21) Gifted It was my father's: he was born in 1921. It's the Arthur Mee Children's Encyclopaedia. An interesting insight into the way the world was presented to countless children in the early to mid 20th Century. Some dubious stuff of course, entries on racial types and "a whistle a boy can make". When sick in the late 50s, early 60s I would devour it and even made that whistle! Not valuable but an interesting historical artefact. Good condition considering they are about 100 years old but one doesn't have its original spine.
