Vintage Project Bike / Parts Donor – Free to a Good Home! 🚲 (Frogmore GU17)

Hi everyone! I have an old, classic bicycle looking for its next chapter. It has definitely seen some adventures and is currently rocking a rustic, weathered look (translation: it's pretty rusty!), but it has massive potential for the right person. The details: THE GOOD ASPECT: It comes with a pair of good quality, near-unused Karrimor pannier bags attached to the frame. They are fully ready for action! AS A PROJECT: In many ways, this bike is like its current owners; it needs some TLC: * The paintwork is old but serviceable; * the rims sport a 'retirement of flat tyres' (IE they need replacing, like us); * and the 'brightwork' is clothed somewhat unfashionably in browns (more than a 'patina' of rust); * but it’s still got plenty of sassy character. THE VERDICT: It’s the perfect weekend project for a renovation enthusiast, or an excellent donor bike if you just need vintage parts. COLLECTION: It is completely free. You only need to collect it and take it away as-is. You'll need a boot or a rack, as it won't be rolling home on its own! (Again, increasingly like us.)

Approx dimensions: * Width 30" / 76 cm * Height 22" / 56 cm * Depth 15½" / 39.5 cm No cuts in the black vinyl covering nor significant scratches in the upper woodwork. This is not a modern replica. It is genuinely c.60 years old. Two careful owners.

Old fashioned hemp rope (Frogmore GU17)

Rope needed for a stage production currently in rehearsal. It must be over 10 feet long, about ½–¾inch diameter (um ...15–20mm?), and preferably very old and tatty looking. The sort of ancient worn-out rope your grandparents should probably bin! This play is set in 'old times' (think: sailing ships, etc) so the rope absolutely has to be made of a twisted natural fibre (eg hemp, jute, etc), and natural-coloured - eg brown. Dirty is actually ideal! (As long as it isn't from oil.) A 'modern' nylon/plastic/etc rope would look so wrong. Please can you help? I'm willing to collect.

Old but still serviceable and working. Cuts well. Width of cut: 41cm. 2-stroke petrol engine. Height adjuster is broken, but anyone with DIY skills should easily fix it. Last serviced late 2023. Free, but must collect.
