Curb alert: drafting desk (Davis) Leonar Neolt model. Made in Italy, fancy when it was new. This one has been out on the curb for over a week. Near the northeast corner at the intersection of 1st St and C St.

Curb alert: toaster oven (Davis) Right next to the sidewalk, set out on a low wall in front of the Smith Funeral Home sign.

Curb alert: Dog crate (Davis) Expired Midwest iCrate model 1536; the Internet can tell you the dimensions and other features. It’s in a dumpster corral at West Village. Drive east on Tilia St. until you can’t go further because the street becomes a bike path. Turn right (south) into the little parking lot. The dumpster corral is on your right side.

Size 4 girl’s sandals, beige (Davis) Expired Art Class (Target) brand. Not sure what to call these, maybe “clog sandals” — they have ankle straps, closed toes, thick semi-platform soles. Used but lots of life left.

Mace Ranch light fixture (Davis) Expired Plain round ceiling light fixture that you could use for parts, especially if you have the same model in your house. Used by Richmond American in the 1990s. This one was removed from the pantry, but it’s the same as some bathrooms. Doesn’t include the fluorescent bulb. Was working when removed.

Bathroom vanity light fixture (Davis) Expired Unused but missing the glass pieces. Kichler model 6123CH, chrome finish.

Glass or plastic sheet material (Davis) For making substitute windows to go above seasonally-installed window AC units. I don’t know the exact dimensions yet, but the window openings are 22-1/4 inches wide. I do have a manual glass cutter, so I could trim off chipped edges or broken corners, like glazing from a large picture frame that is still mostly intact.

Roller Derby inline frames (Davis) Expired Just the black plastic inline frames, one with an orange brake pad. Does not include the wheels, axle hardware, mounting hardware, or boots. Works with Roller Derby kids’ 2-in-1 convertible skates, and maybe copycat products. Size unknown, distance between the mounting holes is ~123mm center-to-center.

Brown paper packing material (Davis) Expired Three big wads, plus two medium wads. They were used to pad a trailer hitch receiver in its shipping box. A small amount of gritty sand was all over everything in the box and still stuck in the folds of the packing paper. Otherwise the paper is clean and dry.

Blade for Oster blender (Davis) Expired Just the metal blade, with an 8-point female drive mechanism. The round bottom part is bent, unsure whether that affects the seal. But that part is stainless steel, so surely it could be bent back or flattened.

Store brand barbecue sauce (Davis) Expired “Sweet ‘n tangy spicy” flavor. Completely sealed. I don’t see any date on it.

Kraft tartar sauce, 12 fl oz (Davis) Expired Best by April 2025. Sealed under the cap. The flip-top piece of the cap broke off and is gone; you could fix that by saving and reusing the screw cap from the same or similar product.

Heart-shaped box (Davis) Expired An empty gift box that had Valentines chocolates in it. About 8 to 9 inches diameter, 1 inch high. The graphics on the outside are nothing special, but the cardboard is thick and sturdy, would be good to decoupage on.

Black & Decker old charger (Davis) Expired Specifically looking for a cordless tool charger that is compatible with 14.4v battery packs, although the charger might be labeled with a range such as “9.6v - 18v” or “9.6v - 24v” rather than one specific voltage. I’ll also take old batteries that go along with the charger, even if they aren’t working.

JST connector (Davis) Expired One small plastic plug taken off of a cordless phone battery pack: Enercell (Radio Shack) 23-930. NOT the whole battery pack. JUST the little plug connector.

Huawei F256VW (Davis) Expired For a serious tinkerer. This 3G device stopped serving its intended purpose when Verizon shut down its 3G network. But it has a USB port, and I see people are still buying this exact model on Ebay, so maybe something useful can be done with the hardware components? Battery pack not included. I’m using the power adapter for something else, but if you bring me another one that outputs 12 volts, I’ll trade you the adapter that goes with the device.

Wood tree box (Davis) Expired If you planted a tree that came in a wooden planter, I can reuse the empty planter to relocate a tree. Exact size isn’t important, but I believe they are usually around 24x24 inches.
