Musical Instruments (Greenwich Village)
I am friends with a group of musicians who are trying to start a string orchestra in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for kids from disadvantaged neighborhoods. They are looking for donations of musical instruments to launch the program. They plan to start with a string orchestra, so the priority is for violins, violas, cellos, and double bass instruments. However, they will also accept wind instruments (flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon. To learn more about the organizers, you can see their Go Fund Me here - . I am organizing a "Books, Plants and Other Cozy Things" sale for an LGBTQ affirming church at 13th St and 7th Ave in NYC. I'm looking for donations of the following items, to be resold in this fundraiser: 1. Unused candles 2. Gently used books 3. Houseplants looking for a new home The sale is happening Oct 4-5, so I need to receive the items by Fri, Oct 3. You can either drop off the items at the church, or contact me to make arrangements for a pickup! To drop off items: 1. Label them with my name - Katie R 2. Bring them to the Church of the Village at 201 W. 13th Street (at 7th Ave). You can leave them with security any day of the week, and they're usually open from 7am-at least 6pm (but usually later, like 8pm). [ Items received in response to this request will be resold ]
