German text book (Keresley Newlands CV7)
I f anyone is home schooling or wants to learn German, this old, much used teach yourself book is in poor condition but still clearly readable and can still be used effectively. Because the spine binding is coming apart it needs to be treated carefully, placed on a desk to read rather than casually open on one's lap. The spine can probably be gummed by someone with experience. There's some foxing and a small cut on one page but, that doesn't interfere with its legibility and it would be a shame to condemn it to landfill while it can still be of use.

I now know there was the Craven Pit on Woodway Lane. That reminded me of my courting days back n the 70's going to a pub called the Craven Arms.

Daily Mail histories (Keresley Newlands CV7)
Some considerable time ago the Daily Mail printed a series of historical events written as if they had been covered at the time by a news reporter. They were a great hit & had thousands of followers eager for more. I was so impressed that I kept mine to share with friends at dinner parties etc. They're in surprisingly good condition considering the use & age. Still good for home schooling with a difference or inspiration for any history teacher looking to liven up their subject.

dinner money envelopes (Keresley Newlands CV7)

packet of unused dinner money envelopes found in an old filing box . Old envelopes often need a bit of Prit Stick to refresh the gummed strip. Personally I prefer doing that anyway rather than licking the strip no matter how clean the envelope looks.

tile cutter (Keresley Newlands CV7)

the tiler said it's broken & doesn't want it back but the cutter looks good and runs along the guide rod smoothly. It may still be useful to somebody; If you think you ca use, repair, or anaablise it, feel free to come and look it over. The case is pretty sturdy but the hinge straps need replacing.

builders' mixing tray (Keresley Newlands CV7)
Expired
dumped on my drive, I can't climb across to measure it but estimate 3ft square 8'' deep black rubber. I was told it's what builders use on site to mix small quantities of cement. Could possibly be used as a sandpit?
