Free: zip link mattresses (Builth Wells) 2 used zip-link single mattresses - the base is NOT available! The mattresses are 3 feet wide. They are 75" - 6' 3" - long. I bought these from a hotel, as a temporary measure, to put on American 6' 6" long bed bases [which you can see in the main photo, and which are NOT available] . They are 3" too short for the base: I've bought a pair the correct length. Crucially, both zips work perfectly. In the photo of them zipped together, the Linxbed mattress is on the right. The Linxbeds mattress is newer than the Classic one. It's a medium firm and is in good condition - there's a few scuff marks on the corners, which I think came from being in storage. The Classic mattress is older, and is a medium soft. It's been in the hotel's storage longer: there are a few marks on it from storage, and a small three cornered tear, which can be seen in the last photo. The tear could be mended, but it didn't, and doesn't, affect its use, and I've not bothered. They have been used, but there are no "use" stains on them. I had a new mattress topper on them: friends who've slept on them slept really well: no-one complained! ( To zip them up, by the way, you need two people. Experienced friends helped me: they made a sort of V tent shape, and fastened the lower zip up first, let them fall flat, and did the top zip; quite an art! ) They're (obviously!) two single mattresses when unzipped - which they now are. This makes transportation possible in a larger car or van. They are on the ground floor of my house and near the front door - easy level access. If you have single beds that can be joined, here's your queen sized bed! I NEED THESE GONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - HOUSE FULL OF PEOPLE ON WEDNESDAY AND MORE ON FRIDAY!

Request: pressure cooker (Builth Wells) I'm looking for a fully working pressure cooker [an instruction manual would be a bonus!]. If anyone has an unwanted one - ideally, not too far from Builth - I'd be very grateful for it.
Request: upholstery tools/materials (Builth Wells) Withdrawn I'm going to try to re-upholster my late mum's ottoman. I'm after an upholstery hammer, ideally, and one of the tools that removes old tacks: webbing, back-tack card, wadding... If you have such things gathering dust, I'd be mighty glad of them!
Free: nursing chair (Builth Wells) Gifted Lloyd Loom type nursing chair in good condition. Any prospective mum intending to breastfeed - this will be a godsend! (If it doesn't go by the end of the month, it'll be skipped.). Collect from Builth.

Free: tiny trees (Builth Wells) Gifted A couple of dozen or do tiny trees, which have self set themselves in my garden over the past few months. Some, in the barrow, are in pots - a prowl around the garden would find many more [like the bird cherry growing out of a drystone wall... ]. There's also quite a large laurel. You have to dig them up!

Request: pair of matching single headboards (Builth Wells) Expired If anyone has a pair of matching single headboards, I'd be extremely grateful for them. In an ideal world, light blue - but I can recover them. I'm after traditional ones - straight or curved tops. Not the high 'fashionable' ones - out of place in their context. Can collect at your convenience. Thanks!
Free: rosemary tiles [whole & broken] (Llandrindod Wells) Gifted NOTE! Please reply to this offer to Ruth Mills on ruthmills41@gmail.com , NOT to me! She gave me her phone number, but TrashNothing doesn't allow them. Ruth lives in Llandrindod and has had her roof re-done. The roofer has stacked the tiles that came off and there are quite a few that are intact and can be re-used. If you HAVE a rosemary-tiled roof and want spares, or need to put a roof on an outbuilding, this is a golden opportunity. There are also a large number of broken ones and lots of fragments, which would make excellent hardcore for a path or drive. You'll need to bring strong containers to put them / it in - and remember that they are HEAVY! Ruth wants the lot gone as soon as possible - otherwise they'll have to be taken to landfill. Thank you.
Free: Double bed (Builth Wells) Gifted FREE double [ie. 4ft 6"] bed. Relyon Royal Woolsack mattress on matching base. “medium”. New – which it isn’t! - these mattresses are eye-wateringly expensive – see The mattress has an old stain, but we’ve always used it with a mattress cover on. New wider bed is taking its place. It HAS to be collected as soon as possible ( today, Sunday, on 15th or 16th ). The mattress is heavy; it does at least have handles on the sides. The base is in one piece, which means a van. It’s worth hiring a man [or two] with a van to get it. In Builth: level access, tarmac drive to front door. This is on other sites, by the way....

Free: pieces of bare garden wire (Builth Wells) Expired Renewal of a garden fence has meant the removal of a lot of wire, on which had been trained various climbers. Free: Creda Debonair spin dryer (Builth Wells) Expired It WORKS, but it makes a heck of a racket! It's got a plastic 'mat' thing in it to keep the washing down away from the lid. It does get wet clothes a lot drier - handy, when it rains every ruddy day. Was my late Mum's and has been in my garage since she moved in here a decade ago. I'm having a major sort out and it's got to go. If it's still here by next week, it's going out for the scrappie. I HATE chucking things out when someone can use them...
