I run (with 2 assistants) a small volunteer mental health project, called the Greener Health Project. We are developing a group programme, involving activities outdoors - and we need to learn our knots, for tying up tarps etc. We seek shortish lengths of rope or cordage (or one long rope/cord - to cut into lengths) - for practising knots. I think thicknesses of 4mm - 8mm would be suitable for us, if you have anything (e.g. old climbing rope, which you can no longer use).
At the Greener Health Project, we don't buy new, if we can avoid it. This is because buying new items contributes to global carbon emissions.
Therefore if you have any lengths of rope/cord, which you no longer need, we would welcome them.
