If you want a statement plant this is it. It can reach 5 feet in height and requires a moist well-drained soil. It will come back every year and will flower from August until September. Even when not in flower the foliage is stunning.
Of course I have grown seedlings which will need to be kept in until the weather is warmer and then you can plant it out .
The bees absolutely love it and of course it can be eaten. If you’re not familiar it’s a globe artichoke. I do have a few they are not all this size, but if you want to fill the space it’s perfect.
Only small ones left.
