8-litre stock pot, with no lid (Britannia)

A big, sturdy pot, made in Italy from 18/10 stainless steel (the highest grade available). Holds just over 8 quarts; measures 8” high, and 10” wide at the base. The handles have heat protection grips.

Missing its own lid, though any 10” lid from another big pot fits just fine. (It used to be a pressure cooker, but I managed to lose the locking top.)

This vintage model (by Aeternum) is almost 40 years old. But it’s only rarely been used – as you can see from the photos, it’s almost virgin (even on the bottom).
